CarrionCrow: If there's any interest, I'd say to get it for the same reason I got it - it's from Telltale, it's part of their catalog here, and they overcharge like frigging crazy, so if you have any interest it's always better to grab them while they're on deep sale.

Okay, by the looks of things, you were NOT the one I first replied to. So I'll do it now.
When you have a moment, feel free to check your PM's. =)

innocuous77: NO. Telltale games? Fucking hell absolutely hell no. I bought Game of Thrones (which I adore) from Steam and I CAN"T WORK THE MOUSE! So I applied for a refund, thinking it was better in iPad. Nope.

Valentine's Day note - give Telltale to the gamer you hate:) (so I don't get a marketing job there?)
I go for completion, or at least as close as I can get using the GOG catalog. So I bought it. It's been gathering virtual dust for a while now. -laughs-
And yes, your game not working to that degree is complete bullshit.

The Walking Dead games on Steam are one of my favorites, and I am not a fan of Adventure games. Tell Tale makes them ;)

innocuous77: Do I need this game? Is that the only hover-board I'm going to see in my lifetime?

(and I loathed the movie)

WHAT?
I have never heard someone say such things about BttF. I'm kinda in shock.
I'm old. I was the first to notice that the guitar was wrong. I was their age when the film came out (did I mention that I'm old? OK) and it was boring. This is my future?

Anyway - no harm no foul. Is the game good?

By the time I was done playing those, I was kinda hoping almost everyone would die....-laughs-

innocuous77: I swear I wasn't going to say that...
But you thought of it, so...

AgentBirdnest: Be flattered. That's way better that crying. (Unless it is happy crying.)
I do love happy crying! Seems I've done it quite a bit because of the people here at GOG! :D

Yeah, a few times :-D

As for the game.... It's... ehhh...
There isn't really a lot of interesting gameplay. The biggest thing that makes it interesting is the references and characters from the movies.

I thought it was a sub-par adventure, but I loved it anyway because I love the movies.

I've heard the WD games are fantastic. I gave up on the series last year, but the games still have a good rep with folks that haven't watched the show. ]

But Game of Thrones is in my wheelhouse. I've read the books, watched the show, bought the "world' book... A game in this world? I'm there. I pre-ordered that shit.

And on Steam, I can't play it because it it timed and I can't move my mouse fast enough. I have a gaming laptop that can launch rockets (not hurting for hardware).

Sorry - just bitching. It's not like there's a game sale going on anywhere else...
Noticing that it is damned hard to prioritize a list when you've got different dumb subsections for what gets wiped first....
Gee-whizz, I just checked my mail and someone with a single red (occasionally blinking) eye has dropped a Christmas present (don't like Christmas my backside) in my inbox. May I suggest everyone follows the trend set by another of this forum's major shareholders earlier this evening (on that occasion it was for my benefit) that everyone +1s a certain red-eyed crow until their right forefinger bleeds. Thank you.

And thank you, Mr Crow. Your generosity is right off the scale.

It's a mixed bag. For someone who isn't a dyed in the wool misanthrope like myself, season one will probably be fantastic.
It's just season two that'll make your average person start screaming a bit. -laughs-

I'll tell you the same thing I tell the (very) few relatives I actually speak with - I can give gifts whenever I want. I don't have to give stuff to people because society pressures me into doing so. I'll give you stuff because I want to. Hey, it's December 25th, hey it's February 22nd, or hey it's whenever the hell. -laughs-
I like my way better. If I give a person something, it's because I think they're cool. That's it. No other crap to factor in.
Also, you're welcome. Enjoy the game. =)

Fair enough. Not the game for me. Trust me, there are games I absolutely love that people raise an eyebrow at.

I'm a huge GOT fan, at least as the first 3 books go. The last two books are meh, the show is meh. I just hope the game is fixed and works well as it's on my wishlist.
