trentonlf: The Walking Dead games on Steam are one of my favorites, and I am not a fan of Adventure games. Tell Tale makes them ;)
innocuous77: I've heard the WD games are fantastic. I gave up on the series last year, but the games still have a good rep with folks that haven't watched the show. ]
But Game of Thrones is in my wheelhouse. I've read the books, watched the show, bought the "world' book... A game in this world? I'm there. I pre-ordered that shit.
And on Steam, I can't play it because it it timed and I can't move my mouse fast enough. I have a gaming laptop that can launch rockets (not hurting for hardware).
Sorry - just bitching. It's not like there's a game sale going on anywhere else...
It's a mixed bag. For someone who isn't a dyed in the wool misanthrope like myself, season one will probably be fantastic.
It's just season two that'll make your average person start screaming a bit. -laughs-
Stilton: Gee-whizz, I just checked my mail and someone with a single red (occasionally blinking) eye has dropped a Christmas present (don't like Christmas
my backside) in my inbox. May I suggest everyone follows the trend set by another of this forum's major shareholders earlier this evening (on that occasion it was for
my benefit) that everyone +1s a certain red-eyed crow until their right forefinger bleeds. Thank you.
And thank
you, Mr Crow. Your generosity is right off the scale.
I'll tell you the same thing I tell the (very) few relatives I actually speak with - I can give gifts whenever I want. I don't have to give stuff to people because society pressures me into doing so. I'll give you stuff because I want to. Hey, it's December 25th, hey it's February 22nd, or hey it's whenever the hell. -laughs-
I like my way better. If I give a person something, it's because I think they're cool. That's it. No other crap to factor in.
Also, you're welcome. Enjoy the game. =)
