Grargar: Not as far as I know. They just take a while to appear. They can be deleted afterwards, though, if they are reported as spam.
CarrionCrow: Ah, okay. Thank you. =) If it gets reported as spam, it'll be remarkably well written spam. Usually spam doesn't come in coherent paragraphs. -laughs- CarrionCrow: Oops....
Sorry, I thought you might know, so I sent the reply your way. Thank you, though. =)
LynetteC: And seeing as this thread is about the current sale, allow me to actually post something on topic! From the home page:
FLASH DEALS:great new offers every 40 minutes
Isn't this false advertising? None of the Flash deals have been new for at least 48 hours now, possibly longer.
ddickinson: The definition of NEW comes up as: FLASH DEALS:great new offers every 40 minutes
Isn't this false advertising? None of the Flash deals have been new for at least 48 hours now, possibly longer.
1. Not existing before; made, introduced, or discovered recently or now for the first time.
2. Already existing but seen, experienced, or acquired recently or now for the first time.
The first definition would mean they should all be new, but the second definition would allow them a get out clause. As they could say that some people would be seeing these games on sale for the first time, which to them, would be a new game. I'm sure there are other definitions that could also be used to protect them as well.
