ahmedshaltout: could it be because we have daylight savings in our country but at an international level the global clocks seem to not believe that we have daylight savings here so i had to set my pc's clock manually and not sync it with internet time so it's acting weird?
Yes, that would cause the problem.

Your computer, as far as it is aware, is in your "normal" time zone of UTC+2 (assuming your stated country is accurate). The front page uses that information to calculate how much time remains, but by manually adjusting your clock, it is one hour ahead of what the time zone suggests it should be.

You need to change your computer's time zone to something that is currently UTC+3 without dayling savings time (or UTC+2 with daylight savings time) to get the right calculations (and if Wikipedia is to be believed, you need to switch it back to normal during Ramadan).

That last bit, by the way, is probably why your computer doesn't allow automatic DST - I assume you're using Windows, and I don't believe it can support that kind of rules.

I already have Commandos 1 and Desperados 1+2 on Steam so there's nothing for me in the daily bundles. :D

And why are they up for 48 hours now? This sale is indeed getting a bit boring.
I have a question. I already own one of the Tactical games, so when I go to purchase the pack, it shows that I have to gift it??!!

Edit: Never mind. I realized I needed to click the Complete it instead of the buy it now! lol

So am I reading the countdown timer right, it looks like these bundles are up til the 19th then? That's kind of disappointing (though the disappointment may be cancelled out by whatever the "something special" is).

JMich: The daily deals do seem to be games from the same publisher, and the Jagged Alliance games are all from different publishers on GOG. I'd have thought that Robin Hood would have also been included, but seems like it isn't. Oh well.
Commandos and Desperados are each from a different publisher. Also, they could have put the Strategy First Jagged Alliance games. Oh well...
Since today's daily deals say they have 48 hours to expire, I will guess that tomorrow we'll have repeated dailies. Only question is if we'll have a repeat of the "up to now" dailies, or all of them.

Interesting. I was under the impression it was the same. Thank you for correcting me :)

I said it to gmt+3 instead of GMT+2 thanks i think that helps and yes we do have to switch it back in Ramadan.. ur very knowledgable.. didnt' think of manually switching time zones before :)
Although the countdown says 48 hours, in the news section they only speak of 24 hours.

"Something BIG and EXCITING will happen in 24 hours"

Now they've changed both countdowns to 24 hours. Was a mistake, then.

I guess they mean the countdown will drop below 24 hours then...

-edit- ah, indeed, countdown updated.

/speculation mode on/
Seems like they want to stay ahead of the steam summer sale.
/speculation mode off/

Looks like they changed it to 24 hours so tomorrow everything will change again and the surprise is tomorrow!

Now they corrected the timer
