HypersomniacLive: I'd like to say a big thank you to CarrionCrow (wink wink, everyone) and point out two sweet things about him:

(I) Notice how discretely and respectful he tells one that he just dropped a gift code in their PM - I wish I could +1 you multiple times, just for the way you do it.

(II) He does not reveal what the code contains, it's just like a physical gift, only in a virtual gift-bag with a big bow!
So that's the trick with you. Rather than ask, I just send you codes. Interesting... ;-)

HypersomniacLive: Heartily thanks, my fellow GOGger, though I have no idea what I did to deserve such kindness and thoughtfulness. (。◕‿◕。)
Because you are that awesome! :-)

Hmm... truth is, you have been awfully quiet today. ;-D

A thousand years of sacking and pillaging takes its toll, you know. Its not all eating raw meat, thumping each other on the back and yelling, "Good deeds, stout yeomen!" at the top of your lungs.
You are truly a bard,

Can I PM you on a daily basis and ask for a poem? ;-DD

You're quite welcome. As far as all the rest goes, to put it bluntly, you don't feel like an asshole. Some people do. You don't. I discussed Nox earlier. It's a really good game. You had it on your wishlist. So there you go. =)

Additional - Real Myst Masterpiece Edition is up. 5.89, 67 percent off. Triple Town to follow.

He handed one to me earlier as well, which was both unexpected and greatly appreciated. I'm going to get a GOGWiki sorted out so I can return the gesture.

Very true. Clients are dumping projects on my virtual lap and fleeing before the Thanksgiving Holiday. Kinda like what Sachys does with his poo. Fortunately, my clients don't pay with feces.

I have two one-eyed friends, which in ordinary circumstances would sound unfortunate, but in my case it is a gift.

Whether that eye be blue or red, I will be pleased to send a poem you-ward on a daily basis.

I am now bowing so low that my helmet has slipped off.

(bollocks, its dented...)

Sure, you say that now. But we'll see how many will still call me friend when I go full-on spastic out of the blue and everyone in sight ends up with 18 year old soccer games in their message boxes!

Only if it's so nicely wrapped up! :-PP

On a serious note, you fine people put me in a very difficult spot here. As much as I want to follow your lead, I can't (hopefully only temporarily) and that makes me feel awkward. (⊙﹏⊙✿)

That's why I generally ask before gifting, to try to avoid making anyone feeling awkward or guilty. But sadly this does result in most people refusing a gift. But I would rather that than make them feel uncomfortable.

You do not, nor does anyone else, ever have to feel awkward in the face of a blindside gift from me. Just know that being someone who's worth gifting something to helps me as well.

And on a decidedly non-serious note, shush, enjoy the game, don't sweat any of the other stuff, then be sure to sign up for the "We Love Nox" cheerleader squad after you beat it. ;)

(Really, really, REALLY hoping that the overall silly tone came through the purely text-based medium.)

(Well, the second sentence is supposed to be silly. The first one was serious in nature.)

(Now keenly aware that I am clarifying the entire post until its nonexistent eyes are about to fall out.)

(Holy crap....now THIS is awkward....)

Oh well. Screw it. Don't worry about anything else, just enjoy. =)

You all are examples of why I enjoy this community, even though I'm only active on the fringes of it. It's lovely to see such generosity and kindness. :) Hopefully when I'm a little more able, I'll be able to follow in those excellent footsteps!

You need a hand? My virtual lap is pretty empty right now and no Thanksgiving Holiday to distract me. (~_^)

Good to hear that, but please no soccer games for me, old or new. ;-P

And what is it with that "full-on spastic" we keep using to describe yourself?

Good, at least I'm safe from you. ;-P

*blushes*

I only do because I'm the type that probably enjoys making gifts more than receiving them, and it frustrates me now that I my finances restrict me from doing so without thinking twice about it.

Careful there mister. Or you may find yourself inundated with ninja gift codes :-)

I think you love getting the gifts, why else would you put your wishlist on public display ;-).

Full-on spastic is a blanket term I use for being in a pleasant, hyperactive, generally extremely silly mood. Like, say, the kind of mood that causes a person to buy a bunch of gift codes for really old soccer games and pass them around at random. -laughs-

Additional - Dear gods. I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY need to learn how to edit things without breaking them....Sorry, hit the button, then remembered that the entire prolonged string was going to go along for the ride. My apologies.

Slashing and burning all that so I'm not inadvertently spamming the thread.
