I'm in as well, for either game in the Ys series, but preferably Ys I & II Chronicles+ , as I haven't played the Ys series at all and I figure I'd like to start from the first game(s). Al-Quadim looks like an interesting game that I might get if it comes on GOG, so I voted for it.
A game I played as a kid and I'm thus fond of and hasn't yet come on GOG is Atlantis Evolution. I know it's not "old" in the strict sense of the term (it's only 10 years old) but it's a pretty good point-n-click adventure with an engaging story. The story goes like this: You play as this journalist who shipwrecks and gets trasported to Atlantis by a typhoon. There he discovers that the people are monitored by a bunch of "gods" by means of some crystals placed in their heads at birth and since he doesn't have said crystals, he can't be monitored and is thus dangerous for the regime - in the same vein a resistance movement thus asks for his help in overthrowing that regime...
The environments were pretty good (this is a 3d-style game) and the game plays like your average point-n-click - maybe if I played it nowadays I wouldn't be that fond of it, but this is one of the 1st "proper" videogames I played, so I'd love to see it showing up on GOG (especially as The Adventure Company who made this game had ties with Microids and now belongs to Nordic -both publishers present on GOG- and the game is also up for sale on DotEmu).
So a bunch of links: Mobygames-more info and screenshots
GOG Wishlist link -that latter link also has a link where I posted more on that game, but since that link became screwed up for some reason, here it is: Other impressions of mine
Anyways, thanks a lot for your generosity in hosting this giveaway mchack and +1!
