I'm in as well, for either game in the Ys series, but preferably Ys I & II Chronicles+ , as I haven't played the Ys series at all and I figure I'd like to start from the first game(s). Al-Quadim looks like an interesting game that I might get if it comes on GOG, so I voted for it.
A game I played as a kid and I'm thus fond of and hasn't yet come on GOG is Atlantis Evolution. I know it's not "old" in the strict sense of the term (it's only 10 years old) but it's a pretty good point-n-click adventure with an engaging story. The story goes like this: You play as this journalist who shipwrecks and gets trasported to Atlantis by a typhoon. There he discovers that the people are monitored by a bunch of "gods" by means of some crystals placed in their heads at birth and since he doesn't have said crystals, he can't be monitored and is thus dangerous for the regime - in the same vein a resistance movement thus asks for his help in overthrowing that regime...
The environments were pretty good (this is a 3d-style game) and the game plays like your average point-n-click - maybe if I played it nowadays I wouldn't be that fond of it, but this is one of the 1st "proper" videogames I played, so I'd love to see it showing up on GOG (especially as The Adventure Company who made this game had ties with Microids and now belongs to Nordic -both publishers present on GOG- and the game is also up for sale on DotEmu).

So a bunch of links: Mobygames-more info and screenshots
GOG Wishlist link -that latter link also has a link where I posted more on that game, but since that link became screwed up for some reason, here it is: Other impressions of mine

Anyways, thanks a lot for your generosity in hosting this giveaway mchack and +1!

Nice giveaway!

I've not been entering giveaways much recently as I've got more than enough to play, but having got the rest of the YS games in the bundle during the sale I'll be in for

Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim

To finish the collection.

I've voted for Al-Qadim, anything remotely Zelda like sounds good to me :)

As for a game I'd love to see, there are many but I've gone for one that might actually have a chance of showing up (i.e. not a licensing nightmare or the rights owner being pro-DRM)
Warbreeds was a very interesting RTS where you could customise your alien soldiers with different weapon outputs giving you hundreds of options for troops. It could do with some love on the wishlist too...
Thank you for this great giveaway. +1

I'm in for the whole series. I'd have bought them myself already but at the moment my financial situation only allows for buying games on discount so the Ys games keep staring at me from my wishlist.

I remember that I didn't like Al-Quadim when it came out because it was horribly buggy. Has that changed over time?

But if you like Action-RPGs like Al-Quadim you might also be interested in Entomorph: Plague of the Darkfall which was made by the same developer and also published by SSI only one year later. That game already happens to be on GOG.

mchack: just adding a link to the apropriate Community Wishlist: Atlantis Evolution as this looks quite fun, too. ;) thanks for the entry :D
Ehm, I had already a link added at the bottom of my post, but I guess I didn't place it correctly and it wasn't visible enough, so I'll just edit my post for added visibility :-)
edit- ah you saw the link already, but still, some extra visibility doesn't hurt...

Don't really know, played it as a kid, but I don't remember ever ragequitting it or anything and I got to play it through to the end, so I suppose the bugs weren't too bad ;)

mchack: Hi everyone :) Love you guys, I do spend way to much time here in the forums and now I thought it's time for my first real own giveaway :D

What you can get:

Ys I & II Chronicles+
Ys Origin
Ys the Oath in Felghana
Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim

Giveaway context:
Please, I'd love to see a boost on a wishlist I'm eyeing regularly: Al-Qadim: The Genie's Curse
I played the hell out of that one when I was a kid, and I'd love to see it on gog (and play through again) It's an old arpg a little like zelda (though I liked al-Qadim way better having played both) but it's probably just nostalgia speaking :) But then again, isn't nostalgia why we are on gog in the first place? Wikipedia info

So the rules:
-Give the al-Qadim wish a boost (if you want ;) )
-Tell me you're in and maybe post a game you are very fond of that's old and not on gog yet (post the wishlist link, too)
-Have a good standing in the forums (rep +50, not a scammer, Joindate before May 2015...)
-Post which game(s) you are in for (only enter for yourself if you already own one of the games don't list them as in for)
-Giveaway will last for 1 week, winner(s) will be chosen via random.org on the 15th of july - if the first draw isn't in for all of them there will be a second draw for what's left and so on till all games are gone :)

Hope, we'll have fun (and I hope I'm doing the GA right ;) looking forward to reading your posts ;D

Oregon Trail 5th ed 4th ed these? 1971 that's one really good old game :D didn't know about that one yet
I wish GOG could sell in the future Age of Empires: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/age_of_empires_1 Played it a lot log ago, but I lost it in a move. D:

I'm in for any of them. Ys Origins, for example, since it's the first one.
Al-Qadim sounds interesting so I am happy to add my vote. As for a game I would like to promote, I will go with Castle of the Winds, a pair of roguelike games loosely based on norse mythology.

I have not played any of the Ys games so I would be happy to receive any of them, but I guess Ys Origin would be the one to start with.
I have Dues Exs I don't want Ys. ;)

Thank you for this giveaway! +1 and +1 for your game
I'm in for all games. I would really like to see Settlers I on GOG. The Settlers II was my first game for PC and I really, really loved it. I never had the chance to try out the first part of the series.
Link: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/the_settlers_i (Don't forget to vote!) :)
Good luck all!
Not in, but thanks for the giveaway, mchack! +1

Just to contribute to the topic, there are still some games missing on GOG that I'd love to see. One of them is Ripley's Believe It or Not!: The Riddle of Master Lu.

Oh yes. WANT! This game was fun!
I support every part of this. Nice giveaway!

I, too, am eagerly waiting for Al-Quadim. I still have the CD (with a selfmade cover, since it was on some magazine, when I got it, I think) but I'd really like a hassle-free GOG version.

I'd really like to see http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/the_bizarre_adventures_of_woodruff_and_the_schnibble to complete the Gobliiins Pack.

I already have Ys I&II on Steam and I already played Ark of Napishtim on... PS2 I guess? So, I'd be in for Origins and Oath ^_^
