Gotta agree with several posters above, but my $0.02 anyway:

* Fixing the forum would change water into wine... no wait, that's not water, it is piss. Anyway, I just want to focus that they shouldn't get rid of this forum's aesthetic while doing so. It is very pleasing visually, when compared to most forums I see elsewhere with lots of images, avatars that take 20% of screen real state, forum signatures that take a dozen lines (and show up on every post so they get old real fast when you're following a back-and-forth between a couple users), blinking or moving text (there is a reason the BLINK and MARQUEE tags were deprecated from HTML). In fact the idea elsewhere appears to be that every single line should contrast everything else; meanwhile here the minimalist aesthetic is very soothing to the eye. So either they fix this forum or create another that emulates this design, whatever is simpler.

* Tied to the first point: getting rid of spam should be a priority. There have been plenty of suggestions on how they could accomplish this ever since the spambot attacks escalated so I think I don't need to say much here.

* We desperately need a NEWS ARCHIVE page instead of relying on the community to fill the gap. Speaking of which, thanks to JackKnifeJohnson, _Auster_ and solar_dome for their unpaid work. And while (in my imagination) Gog are at it, they could also fix whatever stupid algorithm messes up the navigation by sometimes causing the links to the previous and next news post follow a completely chaotic order, making it impossible to navigate through all News by just clicking the links to the previous news post.

* Adequate separation of demos and full games in our libraries. In fact, why is there a need to attach a demo to an user's library instead of just downloading the demo from the gamecard's page?

* Better ways to manage our libraries, including the possibility to remove demos or even games one might regret having purchased /redeemed.

* I miss Gogmixes. They could come back at last.

* Improving the version parity between the Galaxy build and offline build is essential to a store that doesn't claim to be DRM-free just out of lip service. Also, if Gog could force lazy publishers to reduce the "second-class" treatment that would be great.

* Removing the DRM from CDPR's titles would do wonders to restore the userbase's confidence in their commitment to DRM-freedom. This anniversary would be a great occasion to do it and give us reason to celebrate.

* Lastly, DRM-free good games — be they old or new — are always welcome. Getting highly-desired highly-voted stuff from big publishers who never played ball or started ignoring Gog, plus amazing indies, would certainly be appreciated.

My wish? For GOG to convince Ubisoft to come back, for goodness sake!

I know that won't happen though. We're not gonna get EA either for that matter. I'd like Diablo 2 as well, but we're not going to get it because Blizzard wants us to buy the remaster and take 100% of the cut. They want us to forget about the original.

Something from Bethesda is likely, but we're not getting Doom Eternal, it is still too new and still uses Denuvo. We're not getting Fallout 4, as it's too early too. We need to wait for a 10 year old anniversary edition to be released on Steam and then add another 2 years. Then we can start expecting Fallout 4 on GOG.

If I had to guess, I'd say Doom 2016, possibly along with Rage, are the most likely games to come.

Some demos may get updates, or may for some reason get removed but people may still want to redownload later. There was outcry when a demo actually was time-limited, after all, and I'd say for good reason.
Make it a great DRM-free anniversary!

I wish for positive efforts to get older series of sports titles from Electronic Arts, Codemasters etc.And those even much older. DRM free and working installers on multiple platforms.
NBA (live), Soccer, F1 and so on.
Digital Image Design flightsims (Total air war/f22) in the same conditions would be welcome too.

But above all a standout support, good care and listen to your community members / customers.

Those are probably quite impossible due to licenses expiring. If they're not sold anywhere, it's clear, but even if they are those licenses may be limited to the current sellers.
A GOG Bear piñata that explodes the Downloader back into existence. Join the party and swat at it here.

Maybe yes, it's a wish.
But there more and older sportsgames to look at too.

I do not disagree with you. Taking demos off circulation is just plain silly and kinda defeats the very reason why there is a demo in the first place.

But you're missing my point. If Gog were to hold the notion that the demo shouldn't be taken off (unless the full game is being removed from the store), then there's no reason why it has to be attached to the account because anyone could just redownload it from the gamecard.
bring back the downloader

Steam unfortunately handles demos the same way. Both shops follow the "subscription" model. Either you have item X in your library or you don't. It doesn't matter how the item got there in the first place (bought, free, gifted, redeemed...)

I tried to download a demo from Steam using the SteamCmd command-line tool, but it failed because I didn't "own" the demo yet. I later found out, that the tool has special commands for "requesting" a free license.
My only wish is that it isn't a crippling disappointment.

They are not handled in the same way, because Steam gives users the option to self-delete any item off of their account, whereas GOG does not do likewise.

Therefore, GOG customers are stuck permanently having demos they accept on GOG attached to their GOG account, like an unwanted parasite, forever; whereas in contrast, Steam customers are not.

No doubt Steam is way better than GOG in this regard, and this point makes demos on GOG a plague that are always to be avoided.

But a lot of people are going to acquire the GOG demo parasites before they understand what they are getting into, only to be very upset later when they discover they are stuck with them, because GOG handles them in a very sloppy way.

That is a problem that GOG easily could, and should, and must, fix.

I agree with alot of the wishes here especially the ones about getting more good old games on here, publisher like EA and Ubisoft have a lot of good old games yet to be released here.

One of my favorite Ubisoft games, Driver San Francisco has not been available for almost 7 years and has over 1200 votes on the community wishlist as well as a petition to relist it with over 160.000 signatures.

Another thing i really would appreciate is to improve support for linux, specifically games that have linux versions on other store fronts like steam to also have the linux version available on gog ex. Metro Exodus, Metro: Last Light Redux and Dying Light all have linux versions on steam but not on gog.

Please also continue to be 100% DRM free even if it means that some games will not be released here.
The main reason why I’m on GOG is for their classic games. I would love to see an emphasis on that this coming anniversary. Besides, bringing us classic PC games is how they began.

Here’s a list of classic PC games I want the most. Some games are unrealistic, but whatever, I just want to throw them out there.

Age of Empires 1 (original or enhanced - at this point, I don’t care)
Age of Empires 2 (same as above)
Beast Wars: Transformers
Bug! (1996 PC version)
Bug Too! (1996 PC version)
Byzantine: The Betrayal
Centipede (1998 remake)
Desert Strike (and sequels that were on PC)
Descent to Undermountain
Dragon Lore 2
Ecco the Dolphin (1995 PC version)
Hellbender
Intellivision Lives! (1998 PC compilation)
Lego Island
Lego Racers
Mech Commander
Missile Command (1999 remake)
Oregon Trail
Pong: The Next Level
Rise of Nations
Sim City (original)
Sega Smash Pack (1999 compilation – if Sega Mega Drive & Genesis Classics is not possible)
Sega Smash Pack 2 (2000 compilation - if Sega Mega Drive & Genesis Classics is not possible)
Sonic 3D Blast (1997 PC version)
Sonic Adventure (the one on Steam)
Sonic Adventure 2 (same as above)
Sonic Heroes
Sonic Riders
Sonic R (1998 PC version)
SPQR: The Empire’s Darkest Hour
Videopac Collection 1 (not a classic PC game - it's a newer compilation)

I’m not expecting any of this, but seeing at least one arrive would really make me happy.
I’d like GOG to improve profiles by giving users more customization options and incorporating them into the Galaxy client.
