I tried bartending twice with almost no knowledge of how to make drinks :P Luckily the only thing anyone ever ordered was brandy and coke, or whisky and soda. Learned a couple of valuable skills though, for example how to carry on a conversation with a blind drunk person without hearing a single word because of the insanely loud music. The trick I found is to every now and again lean over and say "Sorry, come again?". That tricks them into thinking that you are invested in their 'words of wisdom' ...

Well I avoid clubs myself. I like to be able to listen to people. Also, some drunks can be fun. Others can be jerks, others are just neutral. I prefer bars. And not being around if there's a party. And I learned how you must treat ice like gold and hoard it and treasure it and kill anyone who disrespects your ice stash. ;)

What's not to love. And here I go derailing another thread and making it about beer. I'm really sorry, I don't actually plan this kind of stuff.
Never had problem with weight, so i can't give any tested method. I walk 5-8 kilometers a day; when i don't - i ride bicycle (April-October). I do this to fight hypodynamia.
If i'll beat my laziness, i'll do yoga and exercises. =)

Concerning your loss of appetite:
Quick googling shows that protein rich foods, fruits, drinks can help in fight with loss of appetite.
Also, lack of vitamins of B-group and zinc can cause loss of appetite.

Herbal teas based on camomile, lemon balm, dill, peppermint can help in treatment of loss of appetite caused by emotinal problems and will calm your mind.

Check those out. Maybe you'll find something useful.
My BMI probably suggests I am seriously overweight, but everyone who sees me, including the doctor, says it is lying in my case somewhat. I guess I am still somewhat "athletic" even though I don't actively go to gym at the moment.

However, nowadays I'd say I am somewhat overweight, ie. I could definitely lose some from the waist area. Otherwise I wouldn't care much but my best suit I use in the weddings, funerals etc. is too tight on the waist area. I can barely close the button on the trousers but then I will feel quite uncomfortable.

So either I'd need to buy a new suit (at least trousers), or lose some weight. Damn me for buying the suit when I was in a very fit condition, I wasn't thinking ahead!

I don't feel I eat that much and I do eat lots of veggies, and I very rarely drink alcohol nowadays, nor do I eat candy much anymore either. Heck I even eat an oat meal every morning, plus an apple and sometimes a banana. So I guess I could mainly just halve my portions and do more exercise. Yeah yeah I occasionally go to McBurger or Subway like once a month or so, so sue me.
Sugar is fattening as hell. Cut that out and you will drop a few pretty dramatically. Harder for some people of course, I'm just saying.

Coming from a people with mostly a fish diet I don't have a sweet tooth outside of soft drinks. Chips on the other hand......

Nirth: Anyone else here that is interested in physical exercise but has no interest in a gym? I don't know but I find exercise personal endeavor, I like the solitude.
What you are looking for is a bicycle.
