https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1659894998/failsafe A kickstarter project that looks awesome as hell. Read somewhere that it's a mix of Mirror's Edge with Studio Ghibli, and it sure looks like that. I definitely think it's worth the time of anyone, I just hope the KS succeeds.
Thank you for sharing this, looks amazing. Hopefully, it plays well; good art cannot mask bad gameplay.
So it's a walking simulator where you run, and sometimes jump ? Fascinating...
It's either most of the way complete or that's a really tiny budget requirement for a first person parkour game. I do like the idea of mixing grappling hook action in with parkour, but given that parkour is all about total reliance on your reflexes, athleticism and agility I do wonder if there's a danger that one could dilute the other.

But yeah, it does look good.
That doesn't look anywhere close to studio ghibli, I mean ok it's a kickstarter but that's not even the same style.

But judging from the trailer it does not look as....polished as compared to Mirror's Edge. I kinda noticed some clipping in the models.

I don't see anything Studio Ghibli.

If anything all I see is a Pixar Look like the upcoming Blizzard game Overwatch.

The artstyle reminds me of Blade Kitten and I loved the artstyle of that game. ^^
Itd be neat to see this game getting funded.

No... In those games you mentioned, you actually do stuff, as opposed to "exploring" . Exploration is supposed to came naturally, as part of a game, not it's focus .

We don't know how this game will be tackled.

Clearly this game has some form of boss fight with that giant robot. I just think it will be a first person Parkour platformer.
nino no kuni was a ghibli art game, this is just average art, plus we have a lot and a lot running simulator from fps to tps to rts, its like everyone just want to make tom cruise running games
It looks like the Prince of Persia reboot that everyone has tried to forget.

No we don't try to forget this reboot !

Prince of Persia reboot is a masterpiece, a real "tale of the arabian nights" with extremely original cell shading atmosphere and beautiful ost. Even gameplay is good, parkour among dark & light palaces & gardens is epic. Only combats are boring but i don't think "everyone should forget" a game just because combat is not the main purpose of it.

For Once Ubisoft had done an original & poetic AAA project, you should not bash it, even if it was not your kind of game.
