If it makes more sense, it's a stereotype of New York City and not so much the entire state itself. Full of semi-rude Italians who constantly try to prove that their pizza is better than Chicago's and that their city is better than Los Angeles, stomping down the street yelling "Fuhgeddaboudit!" and "I'm walkin' here!" and such.

Well this may be a truckman's thank you but I have never seen this in my life, driving in Australia for 15 years and all the times I drove in Germany. I heard this is illegal too, because these lights "should" only be used in the event of a breakdown or to let drivers behind you know about something in front of them so they can brake early. I don't wanna try this in front of a police car.

There is no company in this country that pays the bills for ordered goods in time/or ever and operates fully legally. Grey economy and tax evasion are seen as a virtue here. Breaking laws is normal since we live by the second rule (irony): "Rules are made to be broken." We are probably world champions when it comes to suing people. Its normal that each neighbor has at least one legal proceeding against his next neighbor and more. Corruption permeates the whole country. And if you add everything what Charon 121 has written about Croatia to Slovenia you might get a very clear picture of how things work here. It will take decades before we become a normal democratic country.

Its starting to be the same here in Canada too. Its not the fault of the people, its the medias that are stirring the sh*t and downright instigating this paranoia.

Nope, not the same in Quebec where im now. This yellow coming after a red (before green) is freaking stupid and can only lead to accidents when someone stopped on red decides to take off on yellow and the crossing direction decides to burn a yellow light thats a bit "ripe"

Having a yellow after a red is not only useless but also very dangerous.
Someone on red might decide to take off on yellow instead of waiting for the green, while the crossing car might decide to burn a yellow thats a little "ripe".
