It's bloody freezing here (middle of Winter) 14 degrees but it feels minus 2.Yeah,I know ''that's not Winter'' but for someone that doesn't live at the South Pole even this is hard to get used too.Sunday...5.20pm and yeah the suns gone down.

So if you feel inclined, post the weather at your abode.

Well, in Australia it might be a standard for cold! :P
Here in italy we don't know real cold, we very rarely fall below 0 (unless the town is high in the Alps).
I went to Berlin when there were -20°C. Mein Gott.

Right now we are having an awful wave of heat, with temperatures of 30-35° with a very high humidity rate -that's the worst part, the temperature feels 10 degrees higher.
Last year around this time I was in rome and there were 42°C. The wind felt like an atomic burning current.

Sweltering here, 25+, no rain for months. Ground is like concrete it's so dry. Expect major flooding the moment we do see any rain.
So what do you do at the moment then? Watch home and away and remember the good old days of being able to run down to a sunny beach and get eaten by a shark (no stereotypes intended :op )
Yesterday we had the first rain in two months, very refreshing.

Our Summers can hit 40 plus and on the Eastern Coast it is normal for 100% humidity. So,indoor sports with the air con blasting away.

51 and raining right now. Lots of fog. However, being 150 feet from the largest freshwater body on the planet means it could all change in less than five minutes.

It's supposed to be 71 by noon.

Winter in Australia means dry breeze is coming from down under to the Island of Java. Maybe 3 weeks ago the cold is really felt (tropical islanders said that 17C is very cool). The city I'm in currently between 18 to 35C with the hot and humid dry season, though now it is raining after 4 days.
Winter is good in some ways, especially getting into bed after you put your electric blanket on a few hours earlier, so good.

How much snow does Australia typically get in one winter? And yes I know it's a big place, feel free to divide it up regionally if you need to. :P

14 degrees you say? Sun goes down at 5:20 PM you say? My god, how are you able to stand it? As for myself, I've been slowly cooked in a 30 degrees heatwave for about a week now. Now that's real suffering.

30 degrees heatwave, now that's a laugh and our Spring.25/30 degrees mild heatwave would suit most Australians, but ours is normally 35 to 40 plus with 100% high humidity and that is suffering.
