Banned because I ended up finding people willing to sell a 2DS, but it looks like they know there is a shortage because they are selling it at a significantly marked up price.

Banned because then you might as well get a 3DS.

Banned because that's always been the case with Nintendo hardware, what happened to all of their consoles, and the recent Nintendo Classic Mini, which is one of the reason why people is pissed at Nintendo. In fact, it's a huge problem with retrogaming which pretty much ruin collecting for everybody.

Banned myself for having to explain the obvious.

Banned because the joke is on the scalpers, since I can't afford their prices. They don't understand basic economics. You can't price your product at the highest number you can think of because there is a limit on how much people are wiling to pay for something. I remember one jerk trying to sell the NES mini for $1,000. It might as well be $1 billion because the public knows it goes for $70 retail, and they'll just wait for stores to restock.

This reminds me of an episode of Phineas and Ferb where Professor Doofenshmirtz wants to freeze the tri-state area, and after that he'll sell hot chocolate at $1 million/cup. That would never work because no one in the frozen wasteland would have that kind of money.

Banned myself for ranting. Sorry about that folks. I'm just a little frustrated about the vast number of people willing to ruin the holidays.
