mobutu: I care about the movies and I'd buy lots, but real ones, not the "documentary" catalogue that GOG currently provides.
Yep, there are many nice old movies that aren't sold anymore in most countries and should find their way here.
Needless to say, all movies desperately need a high definition DRM free release since BluRays are so full of DRM that they sometimes don't even work on many players and again, there are no BluRays of many great movies available in my area at all.
We should at least get old movies like the ones from Akira Kurosawa here or some other classics like Nosferatu (1922) or Metropolis.
I've just recently ordered the whole "Daria" series (I recommend it) from America since it isn't sold here in any way and needless to say I can't watch them directly on my player due to this region code bullshit. The picture quality isn't very good either although it doesn't really matter in this case.
My BluRay player (Panasonic) needs ages to load the first Firefly BD although the BD stream even seems to be made by the same company as I've seen in the credits. Dafuq? Movies definitely need more DRM-free.
