According to the "GoG 2015 Big Winter Sale Tracker":
--- Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie, $7.99 -66% = $2.69
--- Super Game Jam - 5 Short Films & 5 Short Games, $14.99 -80% = $2.99
Were both on sale on 7 December and 12 December.

Because probably almost nobody here cares about movies. I'm here only for the games for example.
Holy shit. I actually forgot GOG sells movies :o
I care about the movies and I'd buy lots, but real ones, not the "documentary" catalogue that GOG currently provides.

Yep, there are many nice old movies that aren't sold anymore in most countries and should find their way here.
Needless to say, all movies desperately need a high definition DRM free release since BluRays are so full of DRM that they sometimes don't even work on many players and again, there are no BluRays of many great movies available in my area at all.
We should at least get old movies like the ones from Akira Kurosawa here or some other classics like Nosferatu (1922) or Metropolis.

I've just recently ordered the whole "Daria" series (I recommend it) from America since it isn't sold here in any way and needless to say I can't watch them directly on my player due to this region code bullshit. The picture quality isn't very good either although it doesn't really matter in this case.

My BluRay player (Panasonic) needs ages to load the first Firefly BD although the BD stream even seems to be made by the same company as I've seen in the credits. Dafuq? Movies definitely need more DRM-free.

Agree with both of you, because it will be very good if GOG releases such films/genres too. But are film companies interested in DRM-free distribution services? For example, iTunes sells DRM-free music but other products (including movies) have DRM as I know.
Well, there are only 55 movies to begin with, so there isn't much options/room for any large (or even small) sales on them to begin with.

I also don't see a lot of people interested in them (might be wrong on that one though), as most them them seem to be documentaries...
Stargate series would be nice:)
Because everybody want to watch Home Alone movies only.
I guess only hungarians understand this :P

Same here, i don't care about the "movies" GOG sells.

Though i did make one exception and bought Once upon Atari - a must buy for every Atari fan.
Maybe if they had good movies it'd be worth having a sale. As it stands now I woudn't take them even if they were free.

Pretty sure the publishers handle the sales and they either left GOG alone and are awaiting perpetual income, or they don't feel that movies need to be devalued like games during sales just because they're put onto game retailer stores.

I was hoping to get Ink and The Frame this year but not at $15+.

Oh, yes SG-1 and Atlantis definitely. Or maybe Babylon 5, X-Files or Andromeda. Damn so many good sci-fi series to choose from :)
