Pedetemptim: Awww, and I was hoping we'd start seeing GOG releases from bigger Japanese publishers. Maybe in another decade.
Ummm don't know if you're joking or not but we have gotten at least one official, relatively current Capcom release in "Dragon's Dogma". Additionally, while not anything Japanese yet, we have seen some release from EnixSquare, even if it's only from the Eidos back catalog there's still a chance. I love having Falcom around as they're one of the serious Japanese RPG companies around, just very unknown in the West compared to Japan.
It would be nice if we'd get a solid bead on Atlus in my opinion but now that's up to Sega.
Oh and frankly I think it would be easier to bulk up the Eastern RPG's area by going after Korean developers. "Arcturus" is a 2D Action RPG in the vein of console style made by the people who did Ragnarok.
Pretty much the whole Softmax pack would be a HUGE boon for GOG as I don't know if there are even any online Korean shops that offer their franchises. I would be SO happy if we even got the cellphone game of "War Of Genesis". I mean I hope the code is around.
"Lair" is one of Korea's first RPG's apparently and is a no-brainer. It got a facelift for release on the Wiz(OLED handheld from one of the Gamepark companies) and is translated to English. I can tell you this for certainty as I owned both and lost them when I was on vacation in South Korea.
