It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

dtgreene: Websites auto-playing audio.

Also websites auto-playing video even without audio.

(I note that even big sites like Youtube are guilty of this.)
Popunder audio ads are the worst(at least with page based audio ads you can close them to silence them). Usually I have to kill the process through the browser's process explorer(if it has one) or kill the net entirely to end them.

As for youtube...there ARE extensions/plugins to stop video/audio autoplay on youtube(and to adjust other stuff like subtitle font/size and default youtube window sizes.) ;)

That some people have Shitty internet speeds like Mine

You think THAT speed's bad?!? Back in the prodigy internet days(and early AOHELL) 56K was considered blazing fast, and if people used the phone you got cut off. :\

Yep and internet pages took over ten minutes to load!

tinyE: Teleporters!

They have those? Right?
Sadly no, but if they ever happened(barring sh*t like the HUGE data storage/bandwidth/energy requirements such would need to function) people would likely be bickering over whether it was actually YOU on the other end of the teleport(take the ST:TNG two rikers episode, for example).

(Protip: It probably wouldn't be "you" anymore.)

aRealCyborg: adding Gaming to everything, like chairs. soon we will have gaming food, like food for games. *sips some gamer fuel*
Semi-related: E-gaming(competitive gaming, with some exceptions like speedrunning for fun) for money just adds fuel to the "entitlement over nothing accomplishments" fire, imo.

If kids nowadays had to wait 5+ mins for a meme pic to load(or pr0n/youtube/etc taking 20 mins to load) they'd likely have a heart attack. 0.o

Another thing:

That the ability to disable JavaScript (without extensions) and to be able to stop animations by right-clicking on one of them seems to have disappeared from web browsers over the years.

(I find animations of any sort when I am trying to read the text on the page; another reason why I like using text-based web browsers like Lynx; doing this exposes so many more issues of the world wide web, including browser discrimination.)

Funny thing: If we could make it not basically cloning/self harm, teleportation(as it takes time now) would allow one to theoretically travel far into the future.....assuming the servers/hardware could last that long, that is.

What's bad nowadays is the damn fake virus alerts which popup when visiting some sketchy link shortened URLs(the ones that "lock" your browser window open/in place until you pay a fee or remove the popup somehow). Those ones(especially the ones that screw your PC over when/if you reboot) and those that made them need a swift kick in the behind with a spiked steel-toed boot, imo.

captchas / recaptchas (especially those made by google and used by gog)

Those stupid little pictures are too dark, too blurry, too grainy, and too ambiguous. I remember once it wouldn't let me proceed unless I selected all the pictures of buses. The only problem was that it was misinterpreting a van, truck, and yacht as buses.

I've been stuck in captcha loops that last so long I wanted to cry. Sometimes, even after completing them, the site that used them would just refuse to work.

The old version with absurdly distorted letters and numbers wasn't any better.

Captchas aren't valid as human verification. It's just an annoying waste of time that hurts my eyes.

If they really wanted a valid test, they could load a simple html5 game that had you click inside a circle (for example). That would be far more effective as human verification and quicker for people.

Logically, only the bottom one was valid, as it was the only one that was a number and on a street... The rest were likely addresses, PO boxes, or zoomins at the lower right/left corner of some books.

Actually, similar forward time travel is possible by going at nearly the speed of light. Thanks to dime dialation, assuming that arbitrarily large finite amounts of energy are available (note that this isn't quite the same as infinite energy, which would actually allow reaching the speed of light), it is possible to travel arbitrarily far (from the reference frame of an outside observer) in an arbitrarily short amount of time (from the reference frame of the one travelling); this can allow for an arbitrarily large (for the observer) amount of time to pass in an arbitrarily small (for the traveler) amount of time.

Anyway, another thing I hate is the loud sounds that motercycles tend to make, to the point where they are quite loud even when inside a nearby building. Why? Why do they have to make so much noise? (How are such vehicles even legal? After all, cars have to be reasonably quiet to be allowed on the roads.)

Then somebody writes a computer program that plays the game for them, and then the capcha now allows bots throguh.
