HypersomniacLive: Coming back home after a week's stay in one of those places that start with H and end with L. :D
Oh, come on, what's wrong with a hotel? LOL

A trip home from a hospital is always a reason to smile. Congrats. The best thing about a hospital is that the experience is so horrible, it instills in each person the primitive desire to survive, to escape that awful place.
You! :)
I'm drunk and eating a large pizza :D

Best combo in the world. You lucky bastard. I have to settle for drunk. Pizza... so far away... yet, so very close... I can almost... reach it... one more drink first. Ahhhhhhhhh....
Bit tipsy and i love Apple customer support. They've maneged to solve my problem in less than 5 minutes, while the local ISP customer support could not (and we talk for a half an hour). I was quite clear and in the end the problem was pretty simple. The router was still set-up on the US and to have access to the advanced options without using any of the Apple utilites (which were pretty inaccessible were i was - old laptop on XP SP3 and the applications needed Win7 with SP1 or Apple Store on the tablet) you needed to reset the router.. Once i've reseted the router, i could set it up easily (not really a computer illiterate, but my experience with the Apple phones and tablets it's very limited). So, yeah, thanks Apple support. And, yeah they frigging phoned in Romania to help....So i've made a few people happy with the help of the Apple support, which made me happy. And all that after another crappy day at work (thank god, that i won't work there anymore from the next month).

The fact that I've got home earlier than usual because I could actually get into the subway this time? We need some serious urban replanification in Buenos Aires xD

XD, didn't think of this, though I'm pretty sure that there are hotels that feel like hospitals and vice versa. ;-)
Watching the news about the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. I don't want to get into a political debate so that's all I will post here.
Finally got my name in at a job for consideration, learned that a place I have been applying to since last year hasn't been receiving the online application. That explains why I never got any calls, and only one interview at another place I applied at.
Today is my first GOGiversary! Hurray! :)
I'm glad to have found this site: strong ideals in a world of corrupted thieves, great games and an even greater community! What else could I ask for?

Happy GOGiversary!

And to think, GOG redesigned their site and added DRM free movies just to celebrate :-).
I know this tends to be a bit repetitive, but: it's my Friday! Unfortunately I must abstain tonight due to getting my annual checkup tomorrow, but I'll make up for it tomorrow night. So what I'm looking forward to tonight: cranking up the AC in the bedroom, reading for a bit, and getting a lot of sleep.

Today I wrote about 600 words for my next book review, and I'd guess it's about half done.
I found an exhausted humming bird trapped in the garage. It was on the verge of death, so I placed it on a pine tree branch and made some sugar water. With some coaxing, it drank. About 2 minutes later when I went to offer it more, it took off.

Nifty.

We had one stuck in my parents' garage last year. Even with both doors wide open, it couldn't quite figure out how to leave, and would buzz around between the open doors and the ceiling. We couldn't coax it out, either. Eventually, my mum cut some flowers and I hung a whole bunch from the garage door handle (at the top of the opening). When we returned, it had left. It had been in there for hours.

I very recently learned that they are attracted to the bright red release handles that hang from the door mechanism on the ceiling. I've been meaning to replace them with something dull, so thanks for the reminder!

Yes! I just learned about the handles too. I am going to paint mine black. Good idea with the flowers.
