Well, no answer for now - so I am going to post the next pic anyway.

I have put some black paint on the title of the game :)

sorry about the delay...yeah, of course you are right about Birthright.
I don't know yours though. It looks like X-com for the NES :)
Ok, two more hints :

- In my version, the game welcomed with a digitalized voice saying : "NAME OF THE GAME/MAIN CHARACTER, je t'at-tends ! Ahahahahahaha !"

In English, this would translate as "NAMEOFTHECHARACTER, I am ! waiting ! for you ! Ahahahahahahaha !"
This was one of the first games with such a voice.

- The main objective of the game is to destroy a brain just in the next room. Destroy it, and you won. Still, the game was Nintendo Hard.

The game was MGT.

Granted, it was not easy. So let's do a new one, much more modern.

This should not be too hard.

Not a gaming guru by any stretch but the PoV and ship style kind of looks like one of the Battlestations games that I briefly looked into when it was on sale on GMG over Xmas. Never played any of them before though. Battlestations: Midway?

jesskitten: Battlestations: Midway?
That's WW2, isn't it?
The ships definitely don't look like WWII ships - it is not Battlestations : Midway, or any mod of it, or any game of the serie if there are other Battlestations.
I think it's one of the Ironclads games, but I can't keep them apart.

Schweslig war module , out of the Ironclad anthology ( the picture featuring Danish and Prussian steam frigates )
Bingo - it was IRONCLADS: Schleswig War 1864

Either Phc7006, who was more accurate, or Smannesman, who was quicker, has won.

I think guessing the "serie" (Ironclads) was the hard part, so I suppose Smannesman should post the next picture, but if Phc7006 is quicker...

Smannesman was the one to give the right answer, imo
Alrighty, I tend to post games I've actually had experience with (also always PC games).. but this one I just remember because I bought it at a fair and it looked very pretty, but my computer couldn't run it :P
