There is something of that. Maybe blue sprites pointing right to opposing red sprites ?

Lol; another screenshot and a clue : this early wargame featured three battles. The initial battle was fought on a site nowadays marked by a 67m high granite obelisk. The inauguration ceremony of this monument was performed by a French marquis

I also include a pic (1775.jpg) showing how the same battle appears in a recent game

That would be the war of independence of the US, judging by the flag, and I guess the marquis is La Fayette.

Now the game's name, I have no idea, I never played it.
