Cadaver747: Corridor 7 is actually pretty good, the animation is decent (best of all Wolf3D games, even better than Rise of the Triad).
I agree that Corridor 7 was better than Rise of the Triad.

Corridor 7 did not have as much weapon variety but I always found the what was there to be appealing.

Also the game's enemies are pretty memorable where as I found Rise of the Triad's ones kind of blur together after a while.

Not that ROTT is a bad game though. I own both a boxed copy of it and the GOG release and I don't regret either purchase.

Cadaver747: Is your game related to Electronic Arts in any way?
I don't think Electronic Arts was involved with this game or the original developer or publisher.

However from what I've read this game's publisher was eventually bought out by another company who's name also starts with an "E".

And this other company who's name starts with "E" produced a different unrelated game and then Electronic Arts published that.

"E" for Epic Games? Was the game developed by Polish company by chance?

Anyway, please give us a new hint or pic. Hint is better.
Sorry for the delay.

Cadaver747: "E" for Epic Games?
Indeed, Epic MegaGames is the identity of the "E" company.

From what I've read the original publisher appears to have been an american company founded in Houston, Texas.

I'm unsure if the original developer's company was a Polish company, I tried looking it up but couldn't find the company's country of origin.

Since I was late with the last hint I'll post a second hint as well.

This game had an interesting feature for the time.

Basically there were two scripts for the game's story and you could choose between them before starting.

One version was a much darker mature story and the other was more suitable to a younger audience.

At the time I thought this was pretty cool as it was kind of like getting twice the game.

The script selection screen is pretty memorable in my opinion.

I haven't seen this game, at least I don't recognize it. So let's summarize what we know. The game developer was established in Houston, Texas (USA). The game's publisher was later acquired by Epic Games. Epic Games was later engaged in some other completely unrelated game which Electronic Arts produced.

That last part probably will not help us deduct the game in question and the only game I know where both Epic Games and Electronic Arts companies were involved in the process is Fire Fight by Chaos Works. And even if it's the same unrelated game you've mentioned it wouldn't help me much, would it?

Please correct if I've made any mistakes in my summary. It's 1 AM and I need to think it through, over my sleep.

Cadaver747: The game developer was established in Houston, Texas (USA).
The location of the game's developer is unknown. I was unable to find much information on them or their founding.

It is the game's original publisher that was established in Houston, Texas and they were later bought out by Epic MegaGames.

Electronic Arts was not involved with this game. Only with a different game which you deduced correctly as being Fire Fight.

As you said that doesn't really help except. . . to identify Epic MegaGames as the publisher who's name starts with an "E".

If you can figure out which company Epic bought out then the games identity should be much easier to pinpoint.

So quick summary:
- Developer's country is unknown. (To me at least, sorry.)
- Original Publisher was founded in Houston, Texas.
- Epic MegaGames bought out the original Publisher.

An additional hint:
This game was released a couple of years before Fire Fight.

The game is not the NES game Pro Wrestling.
The developer is not Piranha Bytes.

I'm pretty sure you did identify tinyE's image correctly, but that isn't the current one being guessed. -_^

I always ignored Pro Wrestling in the past... however recently I've been getting into watching the Tiger Mask W anime and have been finding it surprisingly entertaining!

If that NES game is your thing you may also enjoy that show. ^_^

Edit:
I'll attach the three images hinting at the current game to this post:

Aww, that's ever so kind of you to bring me up to speed! (and you should immediately get bonus points for using Japanese-style emoticons) ... -_^

Thanks for the tip regarding Tiger Mask W, too! I never underestimate the entertainment potential of an anime - even when it covers a completely obscure subject matter!

Now ... onto the CORRECT game. I must confess that I've never played it, sadly (would have come out about 1-2 years before my first PC), but it looks like it's ... Traffic Department 2192 ..? I'll try to check it out sometime! ^_^
I played a demo of Traffic Dep years and years ago and fell in love with it, but I've only ever seen it on abandonware sites which I don't trust.

You are correct the game is indeed Traffic Department 2192.

Its a pretty fun game with great music, and from what I remember the story is also an interesting one.

Kind of had a Wing Commander vibe on how it handled plot between each mission.

If the Wikipedia page on Traffic Department 2192 can be trusted: "The game was released as freeware under the Creative Commons License CC BY-ND 3.0 in 2007."

From what I've read RGB Classic games site doesn't deal in abandonware, only Shareware and Freeware.

There was a link to that site on the bottom of the game's Wikipedia page and they do appear to have the final Creative Commons freeware release of the Traffic Department 2192.

Perhaps that would be a safe and legal way for you to finally check it out?

I was always hoping Traffic Department would appear here on GOG, didn't notice the author's had given it a freeware release. That was pretty nice of them. ^_^

Its your turn to pick the game RedRabbitRun.

Righty-ho, I've intentionally picked snapshots that reveal limited information - so it might be challenging if you're not familiar with it. THAT SAID ... here are some clues that might put you on the right track;

1. This is the very first game - spiritually, though not in name - of a franchise and genre that continues to be strong today.
2. This game had two direct sequels on the original platform (plus at least one off-platform spin-off); a spiritual successor of a completely different name (also with at least one spin-off); followed by ANOTHER name change which spawned the more famous franchise that we know today (which comprised many sequels and spin-offs, from numerous developers and companies ... not always of the same genre).
3. The most recent spiritual successor to this game, created by the original developer but the first of its name (and perhaps eventually a new franchise) is due for release this year.

Happy to provide more clues if this proves difficult ..! ^_^
