cose_vecchie: Very rich in secrets, but I found just a few of them... I'm not that good at it. Anyway I managed to amass all the objects and loot required to complete the mission on expert, as I always play. I don't usually replay levels to find secrets, but for this I could make an exception... some areas I wasn't able to access look promising indeed.
Yeah, a replay(or even saving before finishing a level then reading for secrets on a guide) is worthwhile in this game I think....there are many such fun optional things to be had in several of the missions. :)
As for playing on expert: I also often play this way as one gets more objectives to complete/things to find(in some cases).
cose_vecchie: (Also I don't generally tinker with mods, but thank you)
They are more fan missions/campaigns that add extra missions to play, more than mods, but your call as always. :)
cose_vecchie: Chaotic no doubt: he's a thief after all! As for neutral/good, that is debatable... I would exclude "evil" because Garrett doesn't seem to hate people, or crave to enslave them, or derive much pleasure from inflicting suffering; indeed he refrains from using violence whenever he can. At the same time, you could say this derives more from a desire to avoid any potential nuisance, and from the particular pride in making a "clean" job, than from any innate "goodness".
Although he HAS served the "law"(or the powers that be and factions that control things) when needed...so there's that to consider....but yeah, he is very self motivated, but can be called on to do some good if needed sometimes.

zazak09: Thief 3: Deadly Shadows with the sneaky upgrade mod.
It's a step down from Thief 2: The Metal Age, but I feel the complaints of it being dumbed down are exaggerated. The AI is far more intelligent than in the first two games (e.g reacting to open doors, missing loot, blown out torches). and there are some other nice improvements like better physics and moving shadows. The Hub was a great idea that could have been executed better. The atmosphere, story, and worldbuilding are strong as well. If I had to trash the game for one aspect, it's that its too easy in general. Overall though, it's not nearly as much of a downgrade as Invisible War was to Deus Ex.
Good points. :)
