I just played through P.T. (The Silent Hills teaser/demo on the PS4).

Wow. They absolutely nailed the atmosphere. I was so tense throughout that I shook uncontrollably and almost jumped out of my skin at one point. I'm not sure how much this teaser will reflect the final game, but I feel comfortable that they're making a real survival horror game, and not just an action game.

The Elder Scrolls Skyrim -this is my first encounter with The Elder Scrolls games and I liked it so much-love the exploration without following the main story-such an amazing game and so wast-It looks like it will never end

You can also combine armours of the exact same type. And you can add magic gems to weapons. But - and that is, as far as I remember, not mentioned in the manual - it is only possible for a certain number of times. When I played it on hard the last time, I could combine only 50 times.

Still playing Blade of Darkness and now also Drox Operative.

That's true, you can also combine weapons (including arrows) of the same type. My Whistling Death bow is now at 2149 damage (with a ton of added bonuses), a big jump from the Whistling Deaths original damage of 877. Eventually the additions become more and more minute, I think the last addition I did to it only added around 20 or 30 damage.

Returning to my childhood with Pokemon Red

Right now I'm playing Gothic 3.

I've started this game two or three times in the past (on console). I can never "get into it" despite the fact that I love a ton of stuff about it (using traditional "battle lines" to influence and restrict movements + attacks, the way new skills are developed depending on use, constructing units / regiments with varying mixes of heroes and regulars to achieve desired effects, adjusting tactics on the fly to heal, defend, attack or use spells etc). I don't know why I always ended up stopping early. I think my last run I made a good dent into the early game.


Loved this game purely for the huge variety of loot!


I want to be playing Drox! When Din's Curse showed up not too long ago I was eager for Drox as well. But I just finished up Nexus and I'm currently playing X3: Terran Conflict so I'm pretty sure I'm going to hold off on Drox for now - I'm bummed!

no, jumped in directly on Dragonfall ... i read the Returns had a few bugs and it was all fixed and improved on Dragonfall, so decided to go straight to Dragonfall, but i bought Returns also on promo, so i might play it in the future

I had no problems in my playthrough... but going the safe road won't do any harm (;
The ending might seem a bit cheesy but apart from that it's very well narrated and worth your time.
What's your impression of Dragonfall so far?

As far as time goes it's basically a half a second (or much sooner on harder difficulties with faster enemy attacks) before they hit you for a basic parry. Most attacks can be parried, but depending on how they glow before attacking you gives you a bit of a warning. If they glow yellow, dodge or run away from them. If it's red or orange you can parry them, they're just more dangerous. If you don't think you can parry it, go ahead and dodge.

Ah thanks for that. That's really helpful. The thing he was saying about how you have to move the joystick at the same time as pressing the light attack button... I wasn't doing that at all. I was always holding the joystick in some direction and then later pressing attack when the enemy started their attack.
