Wishmaster777: Back to my beloved Titan Quest - Anniversary Edition. Still going with The Incredible Adventures Of Van Helsing - Final Cut..

*EDIT:* Warhammer - Chaosbane as well.
Titan Quest AE (including expansions) is one of my all-time favorite ARPG and I still leave it installed.

I have the other two but haven't tried them yet. Already heard good things about Van Helsing FC, so will install it at some point.

How was Warhammer: Chaosbane? It has mixed reviews so I am waiting a bit before installing. (Though it sucked when I found out Magnum wasn't the final version and cheaper lol, oh well)

(Playing POE 1, then maybe POE 2 after a few games in-between lol atm)

Oh and Grim Dawn has been on the back burner for a while with all expansiuons installed. Has it really gotten bad with all the new updates?

You can't go wrong with clunky The Adventures Of Van Helsing - Final Cut. :-)

Warhammer - Chaosbane is in my opinion an excellent game. i haven't beaten it yet, because my PC has the average of 40 fps when I am playing it. I will fully enjoy it when I buy me a new PC.

When it comes to the Grim Dawn, I will put it this way - if you have enjoyed it before, and i mean months and years before, you will enjoy it now as well. But while I always come up with viable and powerful end-game builds in Titan Quest - Anniversary Edition, Torchlight, Torchlight II and The Incredible Adventures Of Van Helsing - Final Cut, in Grim Dawn I can't. And after the recent updates the mini bosses, bosses and nemesis became harder to kill with their high resistances, high health bar and high damage output.

Good to know that about Chaosbane.

Did they give a reason why they ramped up the stats for these mobs in Grim Dawn?

In playing Stranger of Sword City Revisited, I've found occasion to use Carnage Front (attack an enemy repeatedly until the enemy's counter-attack hits you) in a dungeon where using skills damages you. I actually really like these sort of strategies, as that provides an interesting way to treat health as a resource, and gives healing magic more of a use.

(My recent Final Fantasy 3 remake playthrough, which I haven't actually finished, used Souleater a lot; I found that I'd end up taking less damage using Souleater to finish battles quickly than just attacking and taking hits, plus Souleater's damage to the user is more predictable.)
Replaying Mad Max - the GoG version this time. It's such a fun and atmospheric game and also very beautiful game. The combat is more engaging than Batman Arkham games and car combat is always fun with the harpoon and all.

The game was overlooked when it came out because of MGS5 but it's worth it to give it a shot.
Starsector just got a huge update, so I'm checking that out again. It's a little like Mount and Blade in space.

If you are familiar with their pattern of updates, Crate Entertainment brings new buffs for the skills and items, but they also buff the enemies at the same time, thus making changes which bring more of the same. :-D But with recent updates, the last big one, I think, they made bosses, mini bosses and nemesis even more buffed than ever. The reason was, i don't remember the change log on top of my head, but I guess they wanted to make them feel like "real bosses" or another cliche of the same sort.

Took small pause from my Druidstone playthrough and went back after 5 years to Fairy Fencer F on PS3. Currently having third playthrough and trying to finish up all loose ends. I've finished some of the optional bosses, and I have approx 75% of the game complete at the moment. Slowly grinding up to level 99 to get two more trophies, and then I'll see if I continue little bit more grinding or just finish the game for now :P
I started several games, Rad Rodgers, Giana Sisters, Sine Mora, The Witcher 2 and STALKER Clear Sky, but Stardew Valley is consuming all my time XD
I put a pause on Bloodborne due to my acquiring Dark Souls 3 for my PS4. As much as I like Bloodborne, I think DS3 will forever remain my favorite Soulsborne (possibly even my favorite From Software title ever). This time will be particularly fun, though, because this will be the first time I’ll be playing through the DLC. I’ve played through the base game twice, but this run is already proving interesting.

See, I decided to start with the Sellsword class because it starts the game with the Sellsword Twinblades. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this weapon. It’s the weapon of speedrunners, and according to many veterans of the game, this weapon is equivalent to an “easy mode.” I am often skeptical of such claims when it comes to the Soulsborne games because in my experience, the weapons and tactics that make the game easy are either highly specialized or dull. Now, having just beat Pontiff Sulyvahn, I can say that, at least in my own experience, the easy mode claim has some merit.

The thing that makes them so effective is that, rather than simply putting away whatever might be in the opposite hand and gripping the single weapon with two hands, “two-handing” the twinblades causes you to equip the titular twin blade in your offhand. This makes it possible to attack with both weapons at once. This doubles the weapon’s otherwise modest damage output. Add to this the fact that they are pretty quick and scale well with Dexterity, especially when infused with a Sharp Gemstone, the Sellsword Twinblades quickly produce insane amounts of damage. I’ve killed every boss I’ve encountered so far on my first attempt.

This may be par for the course for some people, but while I’m not terrible at the Soulsborne games, I’m far from great at them. This was especially noticeable on the Pontiff Sulyvahn fight. I think most people would agree Sulyvahn is one of the tougher bosses in the base game, and I have historically had a lot of trouble on this fight. I’ve died to him dozens of times over two runs through the game, and I spent large chunks of time researching strategies and tips on how to beat him. This time? Thirty seconds. I killed the guy in thirty seconds. With ~32 DEX and +7 Sharp Sellsword Twinblades, I melted his health. It was bizarre and thrilling. In fact, my biggest enemy in this fight was my character’s stamina. I pretty much attacked until my stamina was gone, waited for it to come back, and repeated. I got hit twice the entire fight. The few other attacks be managed to get off were easily dodged. It was quite thrilling.

Who knows? Maybe I’ll finally be able to defeat the Nameless King.
These days I am into Empire Total War (but, Jesus, that stupid glitch about walls is ruining the entire experience and the AI is not very smart...), Talos (I'm playing very slowly becuase it's a an amazing experience) and Path of Exile (the idea of the experienced stones is nice and it has a great experience tree but the aesthetic of your character is too much focused on microtransations... It's not possible to compare it to Diablo).
