Wishmaster777: When it comes to pauses and resumes regarding the game, I do similar stuff. I get bored with a game, and start another one. Depending on the length I might finish it, or not, but if I like it I come back to play it. I did play Grim Dawn as well, over 700 hours. I didn't like Victor Vran when I tried it couple of years ago, but I gave it another try few days ago. I will be more patient with it, as it is very different regarding the leveling when compared with other ARPGs like Titan Quest, Torchlights, etc. That difference to me was repulsive at first.
I don't even know how many hours I put into Grim Dawn. So many class combinations makes for a lot of replay. I doubt I'll ever uninstall the game. I even have Titan Quest IT (now AE) still installed lol.
I myself get stuck in a certain mindset when it comes to games escpecially RPGs, be it real time, turn based or adventure style and find new types sometimes off putting.
I had similar problem with the game Zenith at first too. Felt boxed in by the controls and the locked in camera mode. After playing it a bit though I realized the game is more about the humor rather than the battles, at least from my perspective. At that point I started to enjoy it more.
I guess it does take some patience to try new gameplay styles. Some games don't give us the freedom to explore that we expected from past games, but they do have their own charm once you invest a little time (or a lot in some cases).
There are of course games that no amount of time will change your mind lol. I can't recall one off hand at the moment though.
