Good news everyone! (c)
In Australia Department of Communications and the Arts Classification Branch refused classification to a game We Happy Few. According to verdict, the reason for refusing classification (and effectively denying to sell in Australia) is that We Happy Few is one of those kind of games that "depict, express or otherwise deal with matters of sex, drug misuse or addiction, crime, cruelty, violence or revolting or abhorrent phenomena in such a way that they offend against the standards of morality, decency and propriety generally accepted by reasonable adults to the extent that they should not be classified."
And considering what I know from the news they are right. We Happy Few shows society where everyone wears a happy-face mask and use medication to maintain their belief in propaganda and deny reality, but simultaneously looking for individualls, who are not share common narrative, and hunt them down. Quite offensive to Australia indeed.
