GameRager: Nice to hear....btw is that it's actual name(my program)? And if so, have you thought about giving it a more interesting official name yet besides just calling it "my program"?
You just don't stop do you.
Why are you even here, in this topic.
And still not reading properly ... you even quoted the name of MY PROGRAM (GOGDownload Checker) in your second quote.
As you should recall, I am not really promoting my program yet, as I don't want to distract from what many of us really want. It will get its own thread if I ever do wish to promote it. And gawd, you only had to click the link to discover my program's name ... all too hard I guess for some.
For those who want some kind of solution to our current dilemma, my program is available to help out, but not replace.
GameRager: Also as others said,
the wishlist for adding Linux to galaxy sits at 25,000 or so.....a much bigger number.....and nothing has been done on that end.
Still not reading properly and putting two and two together.
I clearly stated, that you cannot compare the voting number for something that has always been missing (i.e. Linux downloader) with something that has existed, but has now been removed without a good clear explanation or perceived need to do so. Two very different things, and not logical to compare numbers over.
To spell that last out even more clearly. The GOG Downloader could return, just by making a decision, throwing a switch in essence, while with all the other false comparisons, it requires substantial work and time and effort.
And even though 598 votes is small compared to the total number of customers at GOG, it is still a huge number to ignore profit from, so one has to be realistic and not just throw comparison numbers around as if they mean more than they do. And especially not wise to ignore us, if as we suspect, GOG ain't doing so good.
We really do need to spell out things for you don't we. Perhaps that should be your clue, to your flawed thinking and lack of being able to use logic and see the bigger picture. I say that in a friendly tone. :)
