Just downloading Warhammer Shadow of the Horned Rat. Is there any chance GOG will make Warhammer Dark Omen (the game that came before it)? Is there any way to suggest to GOG or put in votes for them to add games?
Right here.

And, given that Warhammer games are now on GOG, there's a good chance that Dark Omen is coming!
I played a demo a long long time ago and I've for many years wondered what the heck the game was called. A while back I found a game on either kickstarter or indeiegogo that reminded me ALOT about it. And now when I saw Warhammer Shadow of The Horned Rat, I recognized it. But still, it wasn't it. I googled it and found Dark Omen and after some more searching, I found a top down view of the map....

TL;DR
I finally know what game it was that I played and I can now rest in peace ;D
Hmm. So there are many classic Warhammer games... I didn't know any Warhammer series until 40k : Dawn of War where I really enjoyed the game. But it is really difficult (or perhaps challenging is the right word).

Do you guys know more of any "modern" Warhammer games but before Dawn of War ? Does any of you ever played Mark of Chaos ?
You weren't talking about Total War : Warhammer?? Ok, my bad.

Dark Omen is the Sequel to Shadow of the horned rat (for reference ;) )
But HELL YES, give us Dark Omen as well. I LOOOOVE the game and it one of the games closest to the actual table top I have found ^^

Yeah, I spent many an hour on Dark Omen...my favorite of the earlier Warhammer games. Would be an insta-buy the moment it drops on GOG for me

Yes.....I picked up Warhammer - Mark of Chaos/Battle March as a 2 Disc set many years ago at a local game store. The nice thing is that they were DRM-free, with the exception of a disc check ( very minor nuisance IMO). They can be a bit challenging in some missions, but thoroughly enjoyable none the less, if you enjoy Warhammer games. As you may or may not have discovered when playing these games..the "Pause" button is your friend. It allows you to take a minute to access the current situation and then implement decisions regarding constructing units, orders ect. As it is "real time" strategy game, pausing, and be able to do this against the AI helps tremendously. I've seen copies of it going for as low as $9 or $10 US on Ebay, and sometimes around $18 to $22 US ( and more of course) on Amazon. If you are interested in going that route, just know that on the back of my box it lists Vista/XP as the OS's it's made for. I play it on an XP machine with absolutely no problems, can't vouch for other OS's. Needless to say, it'd be awesome for GOG to get them here!

Ooh. Thank you for your explanation. Now I am really curious about the gameplay. I tried to install the game before and couldn't get it work on my machine. It would be great if GOG could bring it here.

Also, I just found the wishlist for the game : http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/warhammer_mark_of_chaos_1
It already reached 1000+.. So I assume GOG would give attention and try to bring the game here later. Let just wait.

Oddly, I never got around to voting on the wishlist link you posted (did now though!) And here's one with the Battle March expansion included for you to add a vote to as well :-)

EA own the source code and Games Workshop own the art and designs, so I have put both in contact with each other. However, Covid19 occurred and I don't think it progressed any further. As soon as EA release the source code to GW then they can legally allow GOG to sell it. Check out the Dark Omen forum for Windows 10 fixes and mods.
