agylardi: Hmm. So there are many classic Warhammer games... I didn't know any Warhammer series until 40k : Dawn of War where I really enjoyed the game. But it is really difficult (or perhaps challenging is the right word).
Do you guys know more of any "modern" Warhammer games but before Dawn of War ? Does any of you ever played Mark of Chaos ?
Yes.....I picked up Warhammer - Mark of Chaos/Battle March as a 2 Disc set many years ago at a local game store. The nice thing is that they were DRM-free, with the exception of a disc check ( very minor nuisance IMO). They can be a bit challenging in some missions, but thoroughly enjoyable none the less, if you enjoy Warhammer games. As you may or may not have discovered when playing these games..the "Pause" button is your friend. It allows you to take a minute to access the current situation and then implement decisions regarding constructing units, orders ect. As it is "real time" strategy game, pausing, and be able to do this against the AI helps tremendously. I've seen copies of it going for as low as $9 or $10 US on Ebay, and sometimes around $18 to $22 US ( and more of course) on Amazon. If you are interested in going that route, just know that on the back of my box it lists Vista/XP as the OS's it's made for. I play it on an XP machine with absolutely no problems, can't vouch for other OS's. Needless to say, it'd be awesome for GOG to get them here!
