Update: Well it's been a month but I finally received a key today along with an apologetic email for the delay so they did keep their word :D

Also asked the question as to when a GOG version will arrive so awaiting response

Ah, so they have been paid by Steam to only release it there I suppose, and hence will only give out steam keys. Nice.

I received my Steam key as well. They won't likely give any more info about the delay here because of the PR from the last official word.

No, they're handing out Steam keys because the GOG version isn't ready yet for some reason or another.

C'mon. They are handing out steam keys because the version that doesn't need to include all the steam additional components isn't ready, doesn't that sound weak at best?

I think it's because it's taking them forever to implement Galaxy support, it's the reason for delays sometimes

What, you mean the optional client (that one that I have no intention of every touching) is the reason its delayed? Great, just increased my "pissed of at crap clientware" achievement rating.

Not really, but they wouldn't let me keep the car after the repairs are done either. So I think it's because they can't afford to hand out Garys like that :/

Edit: Keep their car, not my car that they are repairing.

yes, Valve now pays publishers to release games on Steam only! Makes sense to me! Smart business model.

They asked for my Steam Profile ID so you must have a Community Profile set up and that was all
