I've never used a "paysafe" card so I couldn't tell you anything on that. I've not had any issues with purchasing either, I guess it's possible there may be a phishing site out there, is your computer infected?

I myself would recommend using a prepaid "My Vanilla MasterCard". I was worried after getting rid of my credit cards I wouldn't be able to purchase from GOG anymore, but I tried it and it works like a charm for me. Once you set up the card they will send you one in the mail of course trying to get you to get a real one, I just burn them. I will warn you in advance though that using this, I do suffer a .50 cent foreign surcharge each time I buy a game, which isn't a big deal for me since I usually buy well below the normal price when games are on sale. Also make sure you read all the details, they also deduct money just for doing a check to see how much money you have on the card, use the myvanilla app if you have a smart phone to check when needed. If you go I think 90 days without using it, they will also start taxing interest to it until it's down to nothing, so just make sure you buy a game or stick of gum at the store or something to make sure they know it's still active. It will also cost you $3 to reload each time, which is a load of bull. But, for me it is worth it to have a credit card without the fear of someone stealing my credit. With all that being said, try this one, or another one that you feel would suit you better, but the vanilla mastercard is the only one I can vouch for working. Just make sure you read the details before purchasing any others. Make sure they will allow foreign transactions and see what the charge on those are and so on.

I did. They were entirely unhelpful. Their only options were "Never ever," "Wide open forever," and "wide open for two days." They couldn't whitelist just gog.com, or just the next transaction to Cyprus.
