For now all what I see is my Black Edition game got delisted/replaced on Steam and is called X, what? An Epic Games account what? Honestly Epic Games, go to Epic Hell with this forcing nonsense.
Unreal Tournament 3 was already kind of DRM Free on Steam, folks, do you not know? No need for Steam, literally, I could copy the folder and run it alone with Steam deleted. The only tiny issue, perhaps, is the key. but it was solved for 2004 and can be technically solved there too in the same way, so I kept it along with other GOG games and far better (in my view) previous Unreals. I agree with some that just giving the original more than enough, I am truly skeptical of all of these crappy "re-releases" after the Saints Row IV fiasco. Do you want to have this game on GOG forcing you to install Epic Games Launcher too??? I don't want anymore forced nonsense with replacing the original products or anything like that.
GOG must outright disallow, reject and take measures to prohibit publishers/developers from shamelessly landmining games by 3rd party launchers/spyware by default. This is going too far.
