Take your straw man corporate apologia elsewhere. You clearly can't stomach reasonable criticism of a company you favor (presumably you don't work for or have a relationship with).

I didn't "hijack" anything. The thread is about underrated games that you enjoy, thus I posted that. Also, it's not "straw man corporate apologia", it's just that I'm a person who believes in being reasonable with criticism. Our culture is obsessed with unfair criticism and it's disturbing.

I would second that I don't know if Sleeping Dogs is underrated, but it is certainly a great game that will disappointingly likely not get a sequel.

I was not the one that chose to derail the topic by arguing about how "bad" a game is. Gamers are whiny crybabies these days. Not one person has been able to give me a LEGITIMATE reason for why they think the vitriol is deserved.

Seconded, it really was a great ride. Could even tolerate the auto-save since it saved really often. Only complaint is that for some unfathomable reason they omitted subtitles. That sucks not only for people whose first language isn't English, but also for people like me who have a hard time separating voices from "noise" (sound fx, music) and can barely understand a thing in noisy environments, even in der mother tongue.

I for one didn't like it. But in my old days I despise FPS games which aren't immersive sims.

No problem, but as a linear corridor shooter with a twist (time manipulation) it was great. Nobody is required to like it, or the genre, of course. :-)

I'll agree that the game had great gunplay, my problems were that it was too easy and story (setting, characters, atmosphere...) was really bland and boring.
