Cyraxpt: FML, i've already had a huge post but i overwrite what i had copy before refreshing the page to see if there was a new post, let's start again...
Expeditions:Conquistador -> Not a fan of the setting or characters to be honest;
Legends of Eisenwald -> I was going to buy this one from the Indiestand (or whatever it is) when it was in promotion but this turned me off:
"A distinctive game world without common fantasy cliches"
and
"IMPORTANT NOTICE: Similar to games like Disciples 2 and HOMM, there may be points farther into the game where you lose it all, troops, gold, inventory. All those things you worked so hard for. This is part of the game, not a bug. And you wont know when.... Be warned."
Fire Emblem & Telepatic Tactics -> I already have FE Awakening to play but it's not what i'm looking for, i want the battlefield to be smaller and more simple like this -> tinyurl.com/htkozk3
Blackguards -> I forgot that i have that one to play but i remember that there was something about the combat being different than usual that made the game harder, is it easy to get into or do i have to watch videos explaining the gameplay mechanics?
Fantasy Wars and Elven Legacy -> Not what i'm looking for, it looks like a 4X time of game.
@Green_Hilltop -> Yeah, that's the general idea but i want to avoid troops, i rather have, dunno, 5 main characters that can level up and equip. I'm complicating things but my only way to explain it is playing HoMM or Kings Bounty but instead of having troops there's Mike the archer, Jon the healer, Susan the warrior, etc.
Kind of the usual turned based jrpg but instead of just choosing the attacks i also want to choose movement, what comes to mind is Front Mission 3.
Disciples 2 -> Yeah, as with the Legends of Eisenwald i want to maintain the units each level. :)
I actually remember playing the demo of it back then and enjoying it, might give it a try someday.
Before someone mentions it, i already have the Banner Saga on my wishlist, waiting for a promotion (ps4). :)
Thank you for your answers.
Yeah, in that case Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Jagged Alliance 2 and Shining Force are the games you're looking for.
