My posts frequently fail to show up, but I attribute that more to my crappy connection than anything else, which frequently 'spaces out' for a couple of seconds/minutes. I've adopted the habit of selecting everything copying it before I click 'Post my message', so that I can quickly paste it again if I have to do it over.

You DO understand that the last user that made a "test" thread, years ago, was eventually driven insane by it? He's now forever lost in the outer reaches of space as Azathoth slowly and eternally feasts on his inane mind, while the test thread itself thrives in our spacetime, devouring posts forever and ever.
