BALANCE
- Rebalanced/fixed how Confusion status works. Now, Confused monsters have a 50% chance to take a Confused action on their turn. This action is either: attack a random target (including possibly allies, or themselves), OR wander to a random nearby space. Overall, this should be way more useful than Confusion was previously.
- Fixed a certain harmless frog exploit. You know what it is.

BUGS
- Fixed bug where the searchbar tutorial could sometimes mess with dialog box state.
- Fixed rare game crash bug
- Fixed issue where Bandages and Iron Breathing would trigger healing regardless of clearing any bleed/poison effects
- Fixed bug where getting a campfire before a boss or special map would sometimes spawn you in a weird location

LOCALIZATION
- Fixed missing kanji in Japanese fonts

QUALITY OF LIFE
- When talking to Jorito about Weapon Masteries, he will tell you how much JP you currently have.
- The game now saves your combat log in your save file folder (combatlog0, 1, etc. corresponding with save game slot.) This log mirrors the content of the log in the journal UI tab.

We are delighted in seeing how many of you are enjoying the new content, and we are addressing many of the issues you reported since the release with this hotfix. We really appreciate all your reports, and we constantly monitor the ongoing conversations to understand how to address your concerns.

In order to facilitate this process, we are creating a sub-forum on the Steam discussion board dedicated to technical issues reporting. While we might not answer to every thread, we are reading what you write!

Finally, we’ve been observing some players reporting crashes of which we believe many are related to the use of outdated mods. As we introduce new content and additional art/sprites, it is feasible that mods with scripts that are not up to date with the current game’s architecture may cause issues. We are working closely with our active modders before releasing an update to avoid these issues as much as possible.

In case you are experiencing these issues, you will find a short guide on how to disable mods at the bottom of the post. A more extensive guide written by Murgh, a member of the Prison Architect community, can be found here.

- The Fog of War darkness was reverted to its original state.

- Watching a cutscene from the menu will no longer cause a freeze..
- Crash fix that could occur when loading Escape Mode.
- The walk speed tile for Grass Corner matches the speed of Grass flooring.
- Improved various new art assets that were presenting a thin white halo around them.

Help, my game crashes since the last update!

If you are experiencing a crash while starting the game or when loading a prison we highly recommend disabling all your mods. To do this, follow the steps below:

- Turn off all mods in the game’s Main Menu > Extras > Mods menu.
- Unsubscribe and Deactivate Mods via the Steam client
- Check your mods folder and remove them manually: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Introversion\Prison Architect\mods

You can also check the mods page of any mods you have installed to see when they were last updated.

Assault rifle and weapon customization added, survival timeline expanded and storage limits removed (finally)!

Again, a lot of things happened during last days. As depicted in our monthly report last week, we’ve worked hard to fix the problems and bugs identified by the community, added a lot of improvements and increased the quality of the game itself. Now you can check the showcase of the most interesting features we've put into the game last month - they're available from today in our "Aftermath" Mega Patch!

Improvements/Additions:

- Added a new weapon, an assault rifle.
- Added a weapon upgrade system.
- Added a storage system for items in Player Base.
- Added 2 new craft tables. They can used to upgrade weapons.
- Assault rifle and ammunition for it can be created on crafting table.
- We have reworked quest "Meeting with Tarakan".

Localization:

- We've added Czech and Ukrainian language support.
- New feature we added in recent weeks has been localized to all languages. If something is not working properly let us know.
- We corrected some disappearing lines that randomly could not appear during dialogue.

General:

- Marker placed by player on the map should now work correctly.
- We've added descriptions that explain exactly what each difficulty setting is doing.
- Old hideout: Player should no longer fall below level when trying to use the staircase.

Graphics:

- We've fixed problems with reflections in the water.
- Scanner screen light should no longer illuminate everything in front of us.

Audio:

- Muting the sound effects in the menu should now work properly with the sounds of a flashlight, film or scanner.
- Quest “Recruit Sashko” and “Mikhail in trouble” should now be sounded correctly.
- All takedowns should already be properly sounded.

We've recently added a lot of the features you've been waiting for. Save system can't cope, because the differences in information from older revisions are too large ... We are working hard on this problem, but we are not sure if we can solve it and what the consequences will be. If you don't want to wait, start the game again. This should resolve the fatal error that may occur after this update. We apologize for this inconvenience :(


Hotfix changelog for Rev 22079 from Steam.

- Czech and Ukrainian language versions should now work correctly
- Shameful mistakes associated with UI in the Russian language have been mostly corrected.
