This is happening since the 90s but it's stunning how blatant it has become because nobody cared for so long.
The prices for reviews in the last picture are hilarious.

hedwards: Jesus Christ, what are you even doing on the Internet if you're that sensitive? I mean seriously. And this isn't a matter of language barriers here. If you're going to use a term like ad hominem, then you should know what it means. There's really no excuse for using a term that most native English speakers don't know and then getting it wrong.

The point I'm getting at is that it wasn't an ad hominem it was just an insult.

Speaking as a bi man, I wish they'd stop trying to shoehorn us in just to placate people. If a character isn't legitimately gay or bi or trans putting one in to check off the diversity quotient checkbox is just offensive.

It is less than ideal that there aren't more sexual minorities in games. But, if they're not going to do a good job of it, I'd rather they not bother at all.

Plus, this is gaming, it's not an accurate portrayal of the real world. If I want that, I can open my window.

I went back and read that entire exchange. One of the funniest conversations I've seen in a while. Made my morning, anyway. Cheers.

$50,000??? Holy shit. For advertisements across all owner owned websites and ''preferred partner'' reviews.

Yes, as someone with a disability I wouldn't want "the disabled" to be put into a game as some kind of token or checkbox to tick off and it's the same with sex/gender. If it fits the story then that's great but that also means that the entire game is built around that fact that a character is gay/bi/trans/disabled or whatever. It isn't some afterthought. Phantasmagoria may be a bad game but it has a great gay character in it and he is just treated like everybody else and it's great.

Should games have better writing? Yes, certainly but bad writing is not the same as discrimination.

I agree, I play "me" enough so I like to play "not me" in games. I'd rather be " OH Shi- Deathclaw!" over " OH Shi- CURB!" in my games

what is even more fucking sad is that your sarcasm speech was very obvious and yet someone took it 1st degree

than is sad because then i now dont know how hard we would have to dumb down our sarcasms anymore to use them the way they are intended.

should we put some big "/!\ WARNING: Sarcasm starting below !!!" sign or wtf else ?

i mean, the end of sentence " I need a SAFE SPACE subforum on Gog.com right now! " sold you out, in my opinion...

sad also because, aside frorm that, hedwards had a point about nowadays trend in mindlessly shoving in whatever possible as mere checkbox items in "token list of mandatory diversity"

Guys, I just came back from watching Zootopia. And before you start foaming from your mouths read this. The film is deep as fuck. At first it has this weird SJW sounding bive, but that is just the first minutes. As soon as the fox character shows up everything changes, and it starts subtly bashing SJWs until the middle, where it throws all subtlety out the window. Yes, it bashes SJWs from the middle to the end all the way, it is strong, it is just... Well, words fail to describe what goes thorugh my mind as I write.

Was that the film people were saying was gonna try to pander to furries?

Yes, and that is exactly why I said the foam in the mouth part. You see, I am a furry, and while the film is something furries would like, it is not pandering, and it bashes SJWs and separatists in general. Of course, many critics say it is against racism, but it is prtty much obvious it bashes SJWs.

Zootopia has fallen. It is no longer 100 on Rotten Tomatoes

Proving my point. I consider anyone on the separatis spectrum could hate it. Be it KKK or Black Panthers, Anita Sarkesian or Roosh V.

Oh, and forgot to mention a very early SJW bshing moment in the film. Early in the film [Spoilers ahead, stop reading, it is your last warning]

Judy Hopps is training to become a police officer and the training is too much for her, but, unlike in SJW actions, she does not expect the standards to be lowered, and she is not put there to fill a quota (Even though later it would seem that was the main antagonist's plan), she keeps on trying and starts using her skills to succeed in the trials. She figures out how to meet the standards in stead of bitching over them.

[End of spoilers]
Seriously, I AM a furry and a yiffer, I originally went to watch the film for the sole purpose of staring at Judy Hopps, but as the film went forward my mind began to delve deeper into the meanings and symbolism and could no longer fix my attention on cute bunny butt.

Hey, I'm not against them making a movie that may appeal to furries, be it one pushing SJW ideas or not. If its a movie that goes beyond token diversity and hamfisted and obvious agenda pushing, I'm happy it exists. From what you say, it seems it took a more neutral perspective and I'm happy for that. Just be careful about seeing everything as either pro or anti-SJW.

Also, be really careful if you use this username somewhere else. There are people out there who dox people sympathetic to / partake in the furry community. If I recall, there have been bomb threats at their conventions as well. And in general, don't give out personal details such as this on impersonal level discussions. People will think you're weird.

I am not going to hide in fear over a few idiots. I am not that kind of person. That would be too much white mana for me. I will always carry myself without shame. I AM weird. I have always been weird. It is in my nature to be weird. This user name is my real name, I hide nothing, I am that kind of guy who you know will never commit a crime because he is quite open regarding himself. And so what if someone doxes me? I am in El Mexico, we learn to be more afraid of other things such as our president or el narco. A dox or a knife in the mail are nothing to me. You should check my Facebook Account if you think I reveal too much. You would be impressed.
