Gnostic: You don't need to be a gamergate to embrace certain gamergate philosophy you identify with. In fact most people would side with logic and facts...... minus the people who acted on feelings rather then reality.
YaTEdiGo: Actually I hate the starting moment of GG, with all the Zoe Quinn thing, is ridiculous... she dint deserved to be criticized by her personal life or whatever she did with her sexuality, even if she "bought" any favor, something that we could also discuss if it is truth or NOT, but even being truth, sex is a TRADE TOOL since the f... beginning of times... and Zoe was unfairly harassed and insulted for this, instead of criticizing how CRAPPY her game was... that was the REAL point, the STUPIDS that focused in her personal life, give the perfect excuse to anti-GG to pursue them, so I cannot approve the beginning of GG for these things...
But what Anti-GG people did later, was seriously ridiculous and outrageous, and far beyond the line... starting with puting all Gamers in the same place, ashamed us, judge all of us, produce a Shitstorm vs. any kind of people, including women gamers, and gamer minorities that supposed to be in their "protecting" limits, that will not agree point by point with their infinite stupidity, get on the wave of stupidity in any other topics and fields, and start to make a Scientist cry for his Pinup Shirt instead of celebrating the achievement, censorship in universities, censorship in the internet, bullying and threaten people I AM A MEGAPHONE style... making their allies into ENEMIES, worrying more about the virtual world than the real issues, because HEY, MUSLIM WOMEN NEED TO BE RESPECTED FOR THEIR BELIEVES BUT DAMSELS IN DISTRESS IN VIDEO-GAMES ARE A BIG ISSUE... OH POOR PEACH!
And about religious "minorities" <---- minorities LOL ... need to be respected, but DAWKINGS is an asshole, said by the same people that believe that Manaras Spiderwoman ass is a big problem for our Society... To make the situation even worse, I seen American being CRITICIZED for not "forgiving the threats of the guy that said to him "I WILL KILL YOU" (Even suggesting he knows he had a sister) when this same guy was later trying to help him to find his sister" yeah, I bet the woman who criticized American for this, were been so open to accept the help of a guy that said her first " I WILL KILL YOU " after an apologize and later try to help her for other issue... BECAUSE THEY ARE THE MORAL INQUISITORS, with the RIGHT to forgive or condemn without logic, or I should say... SJWLOGIC...

At first I wonder where all these illogical anti gamers people come from. It seems ludicrous, that a whole cult of anti gamers people pop up like mushroom after rain from thin air.
I am lead to believe that corruption in journalist caused that. But then again, what's there to gain screaming so many video games are sexist / racist and some other absurd things that can hurt their own credibility. If they want to punish a game dev for not giving them advertisement money, won't it be more reasonable to claim the game is buggy, boring, used too much overused cliched plot and it will sound more believable? Why these journalist still exist when the majority of gamers go watch lets play video?
If one or two journalist claim that I can understand, but the mainstream media as a whole take the sexist route and being illogical makes me wonder where's the cultural shift comes from. Where all these "my feelings" people prop up from? Why I never heard of these masses before they grew to so big. Surely as they grew I will have heard of them, not overnight become so big / powerful to take over the mainstream media.
Then the million student march thingy prop up, and open to my eyes that Universities in US produced such irrational students. Then there's the high number of false rape accusation in Universities. Then there's the gender studies / lesbian studies I never heard of in my country universities. And feminism in its worst.
I connect the dots and it seems there is a large population in the west are indoctrinate into irrational thinking and entitlement. This movement hijacked feminism and made it a dirty word by perturbing injustice against men under the pretense of equality. It recently decide that it should take over the gaming media too to spread its gospel.
I may be wrong, but I think it is what happened, to have a huge mass of illogical sexist people overnight. It is less of more girls going into video games, but more feminist start to rear its ugly head in gaming. As what we see with education & job extra cash for girls with affirmative action. Instead of supply and demand, they want game devs to create game that cater to their political correctness immediately with shaming and underhand tactics.
What gamers faced now is not only journalist being irresponsible, but also the old monster that hijacked feminist. If it is just unethical journalist, why they don't go the way of the dodo when the majority of gamers don't trust them and go see lets play video? There is a huge movement supporting them like how TV and news media being overrun by the beast.
