Again you misunderstand what patriarchy is. Like I said, women's rights have done a lot to make things better for women in terms of new laws, but we haven't unlearned some things from days when women didn't have those rights. We have the wage gap to contend with, and reproductive rights are still under attack.
Is it true that things are better for women today than were 60 years ago? Yes, but that doesn't that we can't do better. No argument from authority is going to change.
Also if by "read more history" you mean "just go to wikipedia," than no I won't. I'll go get it from sources like New Scientest thank you very much.

Well, the baggage we should shed would be stuff like racism, sexism, wanton violence towards others be it physical or emotional, absolutism, and stuff the leads to income inequality, and needless warfare.
