Shadowstalker16: I think a lot of hostility on the internet has to do with isolating yourself within a group and constantly hearing the outgroup (for MRAs; this will be feminists / women in rare cases) being hated. A kinda of groupthink. I read an MRA subreddit allegedly sent a real misogynist troll to the anarchy subreddit to target the feminists there. The feminists then went full SJW and appointed white knight and SJW mods until they themselves ruled the anarchy subreddit. AKA; extremists attack extremists and normal people suffered.
avatar
noncompliantgame: It would seem IMO most extremists tend to view other extremists, sometimes even within their own greater ideology as bitter enemies, they see them as hostiles that can't be converted to their cause. Lots of factors comparable with religious fanaticism and fundamentalism there, especially with neofems and other pseudo-socialist phenomena with roots in the Frankfurt School, the sort of sh*t people like to refer to as cultural Marxism.

WBGhiro: 1 full year of harassing women on the internet, a cheer to you you misogynist shitlords!

LeonardoCornejo: Most MRAs, both male and female are people who got dissappointed with feminism. Basically that is where most of those who could be considered good feminists go to.
avatar
hedwards: Pretty much. 50 years ago I would probably have been rightly considered a feminist, but now I can't stomach the term. Most of the male feminists I see aren't so much feminists as man-bashers that are completely lacking any integrity. It's not enough that they don't hurt women or politely speak out to other men that are, but they have to also go around neutering male culture as well.
Same here. Just 2 years ago I called myself a feminist. And I actually believed in some of the stupid things SJWs believe in, things such as rape culture, and all that crap about gender being a social construct. But then I began to dig facts, and the more I looked, the less the facts matched my beliefs. So I decided to make what I used to believe in aside and embrace facts.

Eggsactly! (I love puns) And as soon as I began to check facts I saw things in a different was. Back in the day when I believed in all that nonsense I hated fraternities and frat boys. Now I still don't like fraternities and believe they are pointless and spend too much time in social events, but I don't hate the students who join one, because each one of them is an independent unit, and just because one of them is a jerk does not mean all of them are.

Gender is a social construct.
Learn 2 Sociology.

(Also it's kind of irrelevant what you call it, but the things that 'rape culture' refers to definitely exist.)

1: I'd say it's a biological construct to have a "pillar" or a "hole" personally.

2: "Rape cultures" do exist BUT they're prevalent in prisons & countries that "third wavers" don't really seem to acknowledge, not in mainstream America

Well put. Also there is this case. I don't remember the names of the persons involved. The thing is, a baby got his penis damaged in a medical procedure. The doctor suggested taking him to a psychologist specialized in gender theory. The psychologyst told the parents that since gender was a social construct they just had to turn the boy into a girl and all problems solved. They did as the fucker said, and after a few years, once the boy reached puberty, under hormone supressing medication by the way, he began to feel there was something wrong and began to investigate. He felt he was not a girl, and he was sure of it. After digging and finding out the truth, he basically considered his life was ruined by the mixed incompetence and insannity of many. In the end he killed himself. The thing is he proved people are wired in a certain way from birth. Gender is not asocial construct. It is something you are born with.

Ah yeah Dr. John William Money & the reassignment of David Reimer

I truly consider that doctor to be one sick fucker for what he did to both brothers

And on the rape culture thing. Well, yes, there are cultures in which rape is allowed or indirectly encouraged. For example, there are countries where if you rape a woman she is married to you, and some places in Africa where the rumor of having sex with children being a cure for AIDS led to a mass rape of minors.

But certainly no developed country in the Americas or Urope suffers from that (Except for Sweden where the mass migration of Muslims led to an increase in rape rates and made Sweden the rape capital of Europe). Heck, not even under developed cultures such as the Mexican (that of my country) and Venezuela have rape culture.

To clarify, I have nothing against Muslims and most Muslims BORN in developed countries are nice people. The problem is that most fo the immigrant in Sweden come from countries where things are just not right, and a part of those immigrants commit rape.

But hey, feminists give zero fucks about that. They want to fight the "objectification", "sexualization", and "rape culture" in video games and comic books while thousands of real humans get to suffer horrible fates in other countries and even in marginal communities in their country.

Indeed, they'd rather attack a scientist over a silly shirt (while saying they can wear whatever they want) than call attention to the women in other countries that are still fighting for the equality that they themselves have.

Then how are people born with the wrong gender? Surely there isn't the white supremacist capitalist sexist patriarchy in the womb? Or does internalizing misogyny and patriarchy literally mean what it does and it affects the baby?

Anyhow, the b8 isn't too strong with this one. Poor b8 m8 -3 / 8.

Oh, that's easy.
Gender is a social construct, but that doesn't make it 'less real'.
See, there are two components:
There's the neurological base, and then there're gender roles/performance.
The former is how someone truly feels, & the latter is how that is expressed.
The latter varies between cultures, but the former should (in theory) be relatively stable.
(Which, if one were to assess the various cultures and diverse genders across the world, would appear to hold true.
The non-binary genders tend to fall into specific subgroups that one can identify similarities between.
The distinction is in the sociocultural roles and behaviours considered 'appropriate' for the various genders, not dissimilar to those assigned to masculine/feminine.)

Did you know:
Most people can hold more than one opinion!
It seems as though it may be difficult for you (given the quoted lines), but I assure you it is possible to take multiple actions in accordance with the aforementioned multiple opinions on things.

1.God/s is/are a social construct/s. Does it make them / it less...................?

2.So neurological base for gender is a social construct as well? There must be some dayum advanced tech the patriarchy has to grow this base and implant it into a fetus's brain before birth without anyone knowing or noticing.

The expression of gender varies across cultures.

The non binary gender people exhibit behavioral patterns that can be used to classify them. But how does this prove gender is a social construct? It proves there are more sexes than male / female and nothing more.

But an opinion unexpressed is little more than fearful self censoring dangerous thinking. They express the opinion that gets them $$$ and more radical believers. And in this line of thinking; anyone can be excused of anything if they happen to have thought of a different viewpoint on that topic? 10 /10 socjus wins!

If at all it's the hormones. When it is only determined by the brain then it is rather a form of mental illness.

But I thought that gender was just a social construct. If that's the case, by extension, the truth is that the brain itself is nothing but a social construct. So are we saying that our entire concept of reality is based on the fallacy of our actual existence? Dude, I'm calling Dr Manhattan, Morpheus, and Professor X. We need backup if we're gonna solve this mystery.
