Some things to note on suicide and its relations to bullying :

-One particular post on the internet or a chat message doesn't cause a healthy person to commit suicide. Suicide cannot be said to be caused by one instance of someone bullying someone else. Its like a meter that fills up and even the final straw that makes the person cross may not be all that hurtful but pushes the sad person over the edge.

-For someone to bully someone else into suicide; the bully will have to do continuous harassment over maybe months to do so; and I don't think anyone is so willing to do that if they wanted someone dead rather than just get a weapon and go kill the person themselves.

-Saying a group is responsible for someone committing suicide is just Fox News level pseudo-intellectual alarmist mental incapacity. Seriously; a movement has nothing better to do than feed their ''transphobia'' by killing people ONE AT A TIME? OVER MONTHS OR MORE? What kinda thing as to happen to your brain to consider that?

-Again; if someone blindly hates a movement and is too dumb to find a reason, just hate it for its own sake and don't try to make up some world changing news that a person was forced to read bullying tweets and because his entire life was twitter was forced to commit suicide but the bullies did it so they're murderers and some shit? Like, seriously? What mental hoop jumping is done in forming such conclusions?

If this gamergate suicide guy is to be believed; Toyotomi Hideyoshi is responsible for the death of Oda Nobunaga! 12 / 10 logic.

Regarding the whole suicide stuff, I look into the statistics I'm coming across and the gender gap there still seems to be growing although it is huge for ages already.
Men succesfully commit suice 3.0 to 7.5 times that of women depending on the country (Germany was also a bit over 3 last time I checked). I've never found a suicide statistic that doesn't have at least 3 times as much dead males than females.

This happens when you generally declare men as perpretrators, deny them any help or moral support if they are in distress and throw them out of their social environment the moment they lose a job:

Sorry for the facts.

I don't necessarily disagree, but the main reason why men successfully complete their attempts more than women is that men are more likely to choose things that won't fail. Things like putting a gun in their mout rather than swallowing a bottle of pills.

In other words, once men decide that they're going to kill themselves, they're much less likely to fail because they do it right. In this part of the world, they're also more likely to have a gun on hand anyways, regardless of their tendencies.

Also the work environment of men is more demanding, custody laws are rigged against men, alimony, child support, debts. Well, there are many more good reasons for a dude to want to die (or at least fake his death) than for women.

Head injuries are also a problem.

In general though, men aren't particularly well valued in Western society unless you happen to have a huge amount of money.

Humans in general are treated like shit unless they have money. Men seem to have it worse latelly because they get little public support, and the media kind of demonizes them. But in general the real panorama is that if you don't have money you are as good as dead.

Probably the best article I've seen on GG. It at least gets to the core of what people are thinking about it. I know I agree with most of it and the journalist actually went out of his way to do the right thing.
