There are two separate Tweets on the topic, and it did seem they were serious to me. The first came in response to someone asking why Anita didn't support them when they said their games was for people like her. The response which they even linked to the femfreq hashtag said
"We didn't just tell her. We bribed her. How do you think we got in debt? She's tough man."
The second, which they Tweeted to Leigh Alexander's Hashtag said,
"It's okay if you send us a credit note for that $40,000 that Anita never paid back."

It sure doesn't look like a joke to me, especially since Leigh Alexander's firm was hired to promote their game.
Now, this is just me speculating, but it appears Leigh Alexander suggested they donate money to FemFreq and she'd be sure her friend Anita would vouch for their game. In essence, its Leigh Alexander suggesting the bribe to "get mentioned". Interesting way to do business as someone who was a games magazine editor, huh? Wonder how many bribes like that Leigh accepted in her day to cover certain games...

Yes, I think its something - and not just the Target decision, but the whole move towards gender neutrality and so on - that the effects of which we shall only be able to gauge mid to long term. Personally, I have my doubts about confusing children's gender identity to appease a very small but vocal minority. However I (and many like minded people) could be wrong. In these examples the greater concern is exposing evidence that points to the total disregard for those who can not give consent. About a Few Months ago a Dolphin Developer Commited suicide over the trolling at 4chan. That is death by Gamer gate.

If this is the case i think you are talking about there was 0 evidence it was gamergate, but because it was a trans person it was immediately claimed by aGG that gg MUST have been responsible, like Wu blaming gamergate for a part of the ferguson riots.

I also think its rather silly this social justice concept that if some idiot commits suicide that someone else is somehow responsible for it. The person to blame is the one who killed themselves. It's not like suicides among young people have ever been insignificant in numbers, but the fact some people want to use these deaths to "promote" their own cause to me is just sick.

This whole concept that transgendered individuals are more prone to committing suicide because they are bullied is speculative hogwash. Ever consider the possibility its the result of hormonal changes? That the very drugs used to change their sex might disturb the mind with the body. It's well-known that pregnancy can cause such changes and anti-depression drugs as well. But nope, can't be, has to be bullies. Only answer. Because the "politically correct police" says so.

They're not speculative hogwash, there's a very good neuro-physiological explanation for that. Subject somebody to enough bullying and general abuse without psychological treatment and eventually something gives. I'd recommend looking up "gas lamping" if you want to see how that works.

And no, it's not the hormonal changes, hormones adapt rather quickly and the body gets used to them eventually. And if it were that simple, don't you think that doctors would be able to solve the problem, but prolonging the ramp up period or dropping back a bit if things got too intense? The problem with suicide is neurological in nature.

That being said, it's difficult to ever establish causality here. The people who complete a suicide attempt are not available to ask after the fact, so we don't ever find out what the problem is if they didn't leave a note.

Let's put it this way. The example given above is someone who went on a forum and talked about being suicidal. Yes, people made arguably ill-advised comments, but she was suicidal well before that. So its their fault? C'mon. Yet, look at the articles written...
Trolls killed her. She didn't kill herself. This is why Social Justice Journalists are full of shit.
