Sorry, but you're embarrassing yourself. As proof of collusion in the video game press, you're alluding to fourteen articles by people on a certain mailing list. These fourteen articles do not exist. Almost none of the authors of the articles you link to are on that (in itself, in no way incriminating) list. Precious few of the articles you link to were even written by bona fide video game journalists. The opinions presented in the articles you linked to vary a great deal.
In short, your conspiracy theory is, top to bottom, bullshit.
Don't get me wrong, there's plenty collusion, but gamergate has been hilariously bad at pointing it out, because all gamergate is ever interested in is where they've been "insulted".

Sorry to say this, but some of you guys (girls, transgenders, TVs, genderless, etc.) are just... creepy. Not every game is for everyone. Accept it. Play what you like, don't play what you don't like. If there's something in a game that you find really disturbing: go, rant about it. If there's some journo who writes stuff you find absolutely inadequate: go, rant about it. Doesn't make too much sense to protest against possibly problematic elements in a game you don't like.
The controversy is born out of feminists et al. actually liking games, not disliking them.

I also don't think that it's born in any gaming culture but completely outside of it, some people (not even that many) who actually play video games just jumped on the bandwagon because it's always cool and a way to make lots of money to blame and shame people today, obviously.
It's made by neo-feminists (I refuse to call them feminists, because I have this term reserved for the people who actually made this world a better place by supporting freedom and equality) who are NOT gamers at all.
Female gamers are mostly pro-#gg from what I gathered and are threatened by rabid neo-feminists just like their male friends, sometimes even more.

I may remind you again, that #gamergate always was about corruption in journalism and exactly those corrupt people are using the usually strong blind hatred of neo-feminist to move the focus away from what it's about.
It actually didn't have anything to do with male/female-stuff at all but simply with corruption and those people are using you now.
