gixgox: Okay, okay forget my suggestion. I know that I tend to over complicate things sometimes.
I never had any problems with how this GA was managed - for me it could stay as it is.
As has been said earlier, the manager has to decide.
Making it simple should be the way to go.
I mean simple for the volunteers who do the work.
Not make it simple for the user to manage their wishlist.
Therefore I don't know, why there should be detailed records over gifts and giftees.
Should we all play deputy sheriffs as a new forum game?
These community GAs were a nice and "light hearted" extra for the friends of GOG.
Especially those persons who were too lazy to host their very own GA - like me.
I gave away a lot of keys in the past - until I noticed that I just could burden the job on zeo's and finkle's shoulders.
I was not desirous of attacking or offending you, I apologize if it came out that way. in goal I agree with you, we just differ on how to reach said goal.
It could stay the way it is and I'd be fine with it.
Whatever Finkle prefers for himself is what I think he should do.
I think any record of giftees should merely be
column A: Microfish (username) Column B: August 2019 (month)Column C: received: X# games
not what names of what games people took

It is my earnest hope that this spirit remains here, not being lost in the shuffle of ideas on how to improve what is good enough; a convenience to some (givers), a very nice surprise for others (receivers), and at least in some respects a blessing to all.
