Wow! You are insane :)))
Thanks to your guides Adam, I am using linux now. I started using linux on virtualbox as VM. But I was not satisfied since it didnt run properly. Then I took a leap of faith and installed Linux Mint 18 x64 alongside Windows while upgrading my system from Vista to 7. It is insanely easy and works 10 times better and faster than on VM. Play-on-linux is a god-send. It helps you to install any version of wine and use it anyway you like.
At the moment I installed Mint 18 to 10 of my friend's laptops. They hated it at first but they got used to eat after a few weeks. All dual boot like I am. Best thing about Mint 18 is that it comes with almost everything installed. Java, Flash, Office, media codecs.
I couldnt figure out how to update drivers tho. When I open driver manager it only shows my Video card. I couldnt find a way to see and change my other drivers like sound or wireless Ethernet card. It works almost flawlessly so far with the exception of seeing my home wireless as invisible. It didnt show in the list and I had to enter the information (name, security etc) manually and then it worked. Also, update manager is 10 times better than windows 7. It is often problem with windows systems to take long hours for it to find the proper updates and usually uses high CPU and Memory until it does which slows down your system. No such problem with linux.
One more advantage of linux is its low system usage. That leaves a lot more RAM and CPU for programs and so far games run slightly faster. I am still a novice when it comes to linux but so far i liked it.
It is true that open office or libre office still cant replace MS Office for academic reasons. They are very powerful on their own but my files that I work with MS Office do not open correctly. This wouldnt be a problem if everyone was using Linux but that is not the case.
As usual +1 to all your comments with my respect and thanks.
(btw, I am not in. )
