WesleyB: I am [not] surprised I didn't see
Requiem: Avenging Angel mentioned here. The game is kind of a pain to get working on modern systems, but if you manage to pass that hurdle it's quite a unique experience.
Tarm: This is a great old game and I'd love to have it here on GOG. I miss playing it greatly.
WesleyB: And package it with Vivisector: Beast Within, and we have a killer deal.
Chasm: The Rift is #1 on my list of games I want on GOG. Along with Vivisector :)
Requiem is actually on the top of my list of obscure FPSs to try, but I haven't really put the effort into finding a copy and seeing if I can get it running. I assume the best way is just to buy a used boxed version on Ebay/Amazon?
awalterj: I enjoyed
Gunman Chronicles a lot because it's straightforward plain good old FPS fun. If you like Quake / Half-Life than you can't go wrong with Gunman Chronicles, same feeling, same look (same engine).
Yeah, I actually have a CD of that game lying around somewhere. I played maybe halfway through it a few years back. I remember the gibs being quite awesome.
snowkatt: daikatana ( seriously )
I've played a few hours of that, and I'm surprised at how much fun it actually is. Haven't gotten to the infamous NPCs yet though.
Never heard of it. Some obscure Eastern European game, I assume?
