Redneck Rampage
Oulaws
Rise of the Triad

oh wait snowkatt already said it all (cept, why "if so inclined" for Redneck Rampage?!, that game is tops!)

Descent 1+2 too
Thanks for all the suggestions guys :)
I've actually played most of these already! But there are a few mentioned here I would like to get.

WesleyB: And package it with Vivisector: Beast Within, and we have a killer deal.

Breja: Is that actually any good? I got it with some gaming magazine years ago, but never played it, I thought it looked rather bad.
It's good in a sort of "B-Grade" FPS way. If you're fond of loose janky experiences with a lot of personality and not a lot of polish, it's actually great fun.

Half-life

WesleyB: I am [not] surprised I didn't see Requiem: Avenging Angel mentioned here. The game is kind of a pain to get working on modern systems, but if you manage to pass that hurdle it's quite a unique experience.

avatar
Tarm: This is a great old game and I'd love to have it here on GOG. I miss playing it greatly.

Chasm: The Rift is #1 on my list of games I want on GOG. Along with Vivisector :)

Requiem is actually on the top of my list of obscure FPSs to try, but I haven't really put the effort into finding a copy and seeing if I can get it running. I assume the best way is just to buy a used boxed version on Ebay/Amazon?
avatar
awalterj: I enjoyed Gunman Chronicles a lot because it's straightforward plain good old FPS fun. If you like Quake / Half-Life than you can't go wrong with Gunman Chronicles, same feeling, same look (same engine).
Yeah, I actually have a CD of that game lying around somewhere. I played maybe halfway through it a few years back. I remember the gibs being quite awesome.

snowkatt: daikatana ( seriously )
I've played a few hours of that, and I'm surprised at how much fun it actually is. Haven't gotten to the infamous NPCs yet though.

djranis: Half-life
Never heard of it. Some obscure Eastern European game, I assume?

Redneck Rampage
Powerslave

Rise of the Triad

Devastation

All i can think off with that late 90's vibe

Starkrun: Devastation
I've never actually heard of this one. Tell me more!
Because of this thread I reinstalled Half Life 1. :P It really doesn't look too bad. I know Steam has graphical updates and patches but I'm not that desperate. :D

IMO, that Ukrainian developer (Action Forms) was talented in FPS games. Unfortunately, their developed games are almost unknown.
I hope GOG considers Action Forms' games. They deserve to be here.

Its difficult to explain was a fun little run though a basic "rise up or die" themed FPS. Found a pertty [url=https://youtu.be/0fxdOZaVZRk] good video here

It takes you to a few locations across the world, all in all its a fun little diversion. Enough action to keep you going to the end, and IMO some great squad based play... the Ai could be better but, all Ai could be better :)

This was one of the first unreal engines if i remember right, so it holds up and is still playable on modern systems.

Enemy Territory (Wolfenstein)
I finished Return to Castle Wolfenstein again around christmas. It's quite nice. It might be a bit newer than the other recommendations in this thread, but the graphics are almost there :P It's also based on the Quake 3-engine.
