You all sit in front of your monitors and see me and certain others post a thread or just a post and say ''here's another one for me to report as spam and delete''
Do you get ''jollies'' doing that to other user's? What right do you have to ABUSE other user's like that (none).Then you come in here like little girls crying and scared at the thought of someone having the power to return the favour.

The guy posts spam, his threads got deleted as spam. He proceded to spam even more, spam like his life depends on it, he openly offered a known troll the means to totally fuck up the forum,, are you not seeing this? Are blind, are you crazy? What more do you want? There was no abuse, no issue to fix. He was spamming, he got his shit deleted as spam.
what I find delightfully subversive in all this is that it is the downreppers who became the spammers. If they had left it alone, it would have died by itself. However, they kept it alive. Kudos for that.

Deleting spam doesn't make you a spammer, regardless of whether some asshat takes it as a reason to spam more. That's insane. That's like saying that cops are guilty of resisting arrest, because if they didn't arrest people, there would be nothing to resist.

There is only one spammer and only one person abusing the forum in this whole story: Alaric. Let's make no mistakes about that.

Yep.

If someone punches you and you complain about it, they will then punch you for complaining. And if you complain about that, they'll punch you for complaining again. Until you stop complaining. Alternatively they'll act all indignant about a serial complainer who is disturbing their peaceful existence in which they can punch anyone they want to with impunity.

It's ok though. I'll turn off the script tonight, hand over my list of vulnerabilities to GOG, and wait 3 months as promised.

It's almost as if they subconsciously want that, gives some people a purpose or something to whine about.

Every thread they've complained about, they still post and reply to and then complain because it's still going.

Answer 1st post.It was deleted because someone had the audacity to make a thread in their forum that they didn't like.

Solution: Ignore it and move on.Now HOW HARD is that to do?

While I agree with the idea that the spam reporting and thread deletion is a serious issue that needs to be dealt with.. I don't think alaric's 'experiment' or whatever really proves anything.
He was actually spamming before he created the respawning thread, but you may have missed the repeated threads that just said 'Soon' and nothing else.
There are probably legitimate users who also played a part in deleting alaric's thread (as spam), whether some kind of troll or bully is involved as well.

It always was. It was whining about deletion of his previous spam. He posted multiple threads saying nothing but "soon" that got reported as spam, and then, against that "abuse" started his current string of spam, and it was always set up to be posted again, and again, and again.

It is spam, it always was spam, and it could hardly be more obvious.

A thread that says Soon doesn't violate any of the forum rules, is not offensive and should not be deleted. Period.

If you would like to see some posts that do in fact violate the rules, look no further than this thread.

My JerkMuter thread did not violate any rules either. It was deleted. Same for JerkMuter 2.0 six months later. Same for several other threads I made.

and what does it make the downreppers? If they left it alone, it would have died at #1 - they kept it alive. They made that thread into spam.

Rather I think that previous posts should not impact on the current. A thread is spam if it is spam, not because the poster have spammed before.
