CarrionCrow: I honestly don't know what their thinking is anymore. They put out Final Fantasy 13 without towns, for crying out loud. That was one painfully boring, dimwittedly written disaster of a game, and it had at least a 50 percent cutscene/gameplay ratio.

Gnostic: With all the disaster of the new FF series, I think that's why they revamp the older FF from 1 to 6 to milk sales.

Drooling on this but why it does not come to PC?

Dunno, but I have it on my Android phone.

Ouch.. Make yourself a favor, get the PSN version for either PSP, Vita, Ps3 or Ps4, this is hurting visuals. Or yeah, wait and pray for a Pc port of the original, just not these poor alternate versions.

trentonlf: I'll pm the game code to him if need be, I bought a gift code of it
avatar
Tarnicus: Are you after anything yourself that has been and gone or that you really want and might not be around for? I've got a 'couple' of gift codes laying about :)
wanted URU, but sinistar was kind enough to gift that one :)
otherwise nothing jumps out

Neverfree: I decided I should play something while waiting, chose to set up Etherlords 2, but it won't install for whatever reason. Just sits there at a white screen. *sad face*
Might be a little preliminary integrity check? Give it a minute, perhaps. And check Task Manager to see if it's actually running.

vulchor: We've all suffered this accursed promo together, it's like we're now a Band of Brothers

Red_Frog: I'm down with that, but if someone has to save Ryan's privates I'm calling not it.
Someone already had to save Tarnicus's privates, so he must be Ryan.

Tarnicus: After studying politics and economics at university, and then having life show me the non-human side of things where our laws, beliefs and actions are a minute thread of a larger complex organism, I think I'd get the shits playing a game that is so human-centric :P
Yes indeed. As someone who has studied the principles of emergence, chaos dynamics, and evolute heuristics, I'm of the mind that you can only truly simulate something by creating a complete simulacra. Specifically, to properly model part of the universe, you first must model the universe.

I expect the game is still fun though, and hopefully contains some good governmental and civics lessons. I think it helps to ease people into complex subjects by exposing them to even those fundamental parts they may not yet grasp.

I almost entirely removed that story from my mind. Now I'll have to sit through all 4 weeks of Alan Wake's nightmare just to wipe my memory.

Hiya Spins! Nice to see your stately visage over here. :)

IAmSinistar: Thank you too Tarnicus mate. Lovely caring network we've got here. :)

Suffered? I've been a high almost every moment of it, even through the Keanings lol They've provided great opportunities combined with tiredness, to be fun, silly and connect with people in an enjoyable manner :)

Humans are at their best when adversity strikes, and the same camaraderie has come out in this sale. Quite fascinating from a psychological perspective :)

Just took a peak at the forums for it, seems to be a compatibility issue with the installer. Strange as I've never had issues with any GOG game before. But at least it's an easy fix :)

Soooo are you looking forward to Limit Theory? :P Because it pretty much is going to do just that. Parnell has written the most complete and coherent AI I've ever seen, ever. The Dev logs are incredible in the depth he is going through to generate procedural universes. Economics, history, inventions, politics, whole nine yards and then some.
Yaay I finally picked up democracy 3! :)

Your globalistic worldviews go against the fibre of my bundles XP
Hmm... democracy looks interesting. I have to wait till next sale though. Awesome price however. That game rarely goes on sale =P
Alright folks, as my last post didn't get enough groans and jeers probably because I am pretty drowsy I will catch y'all on this thread after the Zzzzs, till then happy keaning...err...I mean hunting. :)
