I took a nap and woke up in the middle of Democracy 3. I finally have all the games i wanted. I'm free! Though I'll still stick around to see if anything else of interest pops up.

Melhelix: Soooo are you looking forward to Limit Theory? :P Because it pretty much is going to do just that. Parnell has written the most complete and coherent AI I've ever seen, ever. The Dev logs are incredible in the depth he is going through to generate procedural universes. Economics, history, inventions, politics, whole nine yards and then some.
It seems amazing, and it might actually pull off a lot of its box copy (unlike similar games which have, well, promised us the world). If it has a solid single-player faculty then I'll be all over it like neutrinos on a stellar chromosphere. :)

IAmSinistar: Yes indeed. As someone who has studied the principles of emergence, chaos dynamics, and evolute heuristics, I'm of the mind that you can only truly simulate something by creating a complete simulacra. Specifically, to properly model part of the universe, you first must model the universe..

Now that I'm done choking on my coffee..........
Your ninja/pythonesque title is the funniest thing I've seen all day. :)

donsanderson: Makes sense, thanks. ;)

trentonlf: I would be happy to get Etherlords 2, can add to my collection of games I hope to get to soon
That was the game I purchased the most copies of during this sale :)
Democracy 3 was really the only thing I was waiting for, but I had so much fun waiting for it that I might just wait for Battle Worlds Kronos now. Why not?

stg83: Alright folks, as my last post didn't get enough groans and jeers probably because I am pretty drowsy I will catch y'all on this thread after the Zzzzs, till then happy keaning...err...I mean hunting. :)
Take it easy, Commander Keane.

vulchor: Woot!!! It's finally here!

Is Alien8n still hanging around? He wanted a copy for his daughter.

Spinorial: I'm not sure if that's the best or worst gift to give your kid :P Either way, she'll thank them one day ;)

And mad props to trentonlf and vulchor!
Edited your post. I was merely the messenger :)

Neverfree: I decided I should play something while waiting, chose to set up Etherlords 2, but it won't install for whatever reason. Just sits there at a white screen. *sad face*

By Grabthar's Hammer, yours is the superior intellect. ;)

Limit Theory 1 is only going to be single player (which was actually the main reason I backed it. That and the fact that he managed to get it completely natively cross-platform Mac, Linux, and Windows). There is a plan for LT 2 to have multi-player, but I honestly never really care for that. The last thing I want is another EVE.

Red_Frog: I'm down with that, but if someone has to save Ryan's privates I'm calling not it.
avatar
vulchor: Someone already had to save Tarnicus's privates, so he must be Ryan.
lmao I never did find out that doctor's name. It would be hilarious if Ryan was it!

My god laughter comes so damn easy with sleep deprivation and good pop culture quotes.

Excellent, then I shall be interested to obtain it! And I concur, I've no desire to join in a multiplayer frenzy just to see who is the best at breaking stuff. I'd rather admire and enjoy the creators work as it is intended.

None dis-meant. Looking out for people's wishlists on a caffeine-addled half-mind is no mean feat. Cheers and props!
